Lack of distance filter
This unfortunately doesn’t work for me, I set my profile up to find it suggests people that live in other countries and there’s no way to filter it out. How is this supposed to work?
Otherwise everything else is fine but the most important filter is missing. The way the app works and is set out generally Is better than other apps I’ve used and is cheaper so that’s the positives.

My $35 App That Just Sits There 😂
I’m about 3 weeks in and unfortunately… it’s been pretty underwhelming 😭. I previously tried Hinge and Bumble and deleted both because I wanted to try something different, so I was genuinely curious about the AI matchmaking concept here.
First, it took over a week for my profile to be approved. Once you’re in, you get around 21 profiles and then wait about 24 hours for another batch unless you refer people to skip the wait.
My biggest issue is the lack of preferences. You can basically filter by age and whether you’re interested in men or women. I’d really like options for distance, political views, ethnicity, etc., or at least basic information like height.
And as for the matchmaking… the AI and I might need to schedule a private meeting because it has NOT figured out my type yet 😭. Attraction is obviously subjective, but I haven’t been interested in most of the people I’ve been shown.
I give them props for trying something different because dating apps could definitely use some new ideas, but I think AI can only take matchmaking so far. Maybe combining the AI with more user-selected preferences or some human input would help improve the matches.
For now, the app mostly just sits quietly on my phone until I remember it exists 😂. Maybe my opinion will change, but so far it’s been a letdown, especially being locked into $35 for 3 months. I honestly wish there were a refund option.

Best dating app
I absolutely love Cuffed! Dating apps can feel so overwhelming, and I really appreciate the intentionality behind this one. I love the focus on quality over quantity and the fact that you’re not endlessly swiping through hundreds of people. The application process and exclusivity make it feel much more curated, and the prompts actually give you a better sense of who someone is and what they’re looking for. It feels like an app for people who are genuinely looking for a relationship, not just another hookup. Highly recommend Cuffed to anyone who is dating with intention and looking for something real!

Good concept
Good concept for one match at a time, but after waiting 7 days to get approved, had no option to select distance before having to pay a subscription. There should free portion to actually try the app before having to pay. Can’t even remove my profile.

Can’t delete personal details. After you give all your personal details, you will not be able to delete them. No way to delete your profile and contacting them will not help.

When I saw this on Instagram, I assumed it at least some of it would be free but you have to pay to use any part of the app. you can’t request to delete the account in the app. You have to email their customer support. DON’T BOTHER WITH THIS APP

Won't allow data deletion
This is clearly fake profiles. You demand paid membership after a profile is made, and no option to delete my images and account, which are being read as I am being notified people are seeing my profile
Not enough people
Great concept, but not enough people in my area. Out of all the potential matches available, everyone was from up north while I’m in the south. I haven’t even matched with anyone due to literally nobody even 100 miles of me.
Scammy business practices
Cuffed requires a waitlist which took months for me to be taken off of, and there is no way to delete your account without paying for a subscription.
Per the App Store’s guidelines, apps that allow for in-app registration must also allow for deletion.
I have no intention of paying for a dating app, and the developers of this application have not returned any information regarding account deletion upon my request.
Skip this app, as the user base is too small to warrant paying for it, and the company has shady business practices.

This is so dumb. The waiting period just to then have to pay with no option of a free account.
Just same old same old
Really wish there was a “free trial” after being accepted. But this app doesn’t do anything new and the people on this app really aren’t any different than free offerings out there. The match experience is just not as refined as other options like Hinge, bumble etc. really disappointed in this and wished I didn’t waste my money for 3 months.

Expensive and a scam.
Claims to be different to other dating apps but will only show you a few people who aren’t your type and before you know it you have to wait a trillion hours before you can swipe again.
Safety Concern
I really wanted to like this app, but I’ve been catfished multiple times. One person refused to show his face, repeatedly asked for explicit photos, and I eventually discovered through Zelle that he had given me a fake name. The lack of photo/identity verification makes me feel extremely unsafe using this app. I’ll be deleting my account.

To much waiting
You have to want a week to get in the app and after they let you win, they greet you with a pain subscription so you’re not gonna be able to use the app off rip you have to pay for the subscription in order to use the app. There’s no free version.

Bit nonsense. You have to apply to join and they’ll ‘be in touch within 7-10 days’. I applied YEARS ago last time I was single. Checked in recently and still ‘application received’ status lol. My application is a perfectly normal person with normal pics and all that.
This app is trash!!
I decided to check this app to see if it was any better than hinge or Bumble. It took about a week to get approved once you submit your profile, then once active you literally can’t do anything without paying. There isn’t even an option to delete your profile.

It completely sucks. The thing that attracted me to it was that “the app will become just you two” you know “one match at a time”.
