Privacy not respected
I spent 45 minutes setting up a profile and uploading photos to then be prompted my profile has to be verified by sharing all my contacts with the app. So I never signed up. Many dating apps
verify your profile in much more respectable manners. The prompts on signing up felt very much like all dating app anyways. Nothing new here

First and only dating app I will use
I was not open to the dating app scene until surf. I like how it adheres to my lifestyle and a community I love being a part of. Everyone has been very genuine and I’ve had great conversations. It’s very easy to use and simple. Nothing too complicated.
Awesome concept, zero follow through.
Not only was I never “accepted” (I’m actually wondering if I was ever actually reviewed since I was not “denied”, so to speak) over the course of a few weeks, no one ever got back to me when I reached out to customer service with some questions. 45 year old woman near end stages of divorce. Pretty disappointing that this app failed to give me an approval or denial, but also failed with their customer service response. No clue if this has to do with my age, or my social media (which I refrain from using. I provided my former instagram handle pre-divorce, which hasn’t been used in six years). Either way, some sort of response or explanation or even status alert would have been a good start. At the finish of the application, it states that the review process “can take up to two weeks”. Ummm? Four weeks later…
On top of it all, SURF solicits phone numbers of friends or acquaintances in order to aid the approval process. Not a fan.

Great app
I like the app. Easy to use. Beats other dating apps in where you can freely apply filters and watch many profiles at a time. I like the security aspect of getting your profile approved first
Big Brother is Watching
The app has a “share” wall which highly encourages you to give them all of your contacts. It’s way out of line. I like the idea of the app but do not want to give them my contacts
