Customer Service is abysmal
Echoing other reviews - the Customer Service at CultBeauty is just appalling.
TLDR: they lie, waste your time, run you around in circles and can’t seem to do the most simple things. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
You have to sit through a useless AI Chatbot on Live Chats. Just to get through to an agent who seems to barely be able to understand or write English, or agents who will just straight up lie to you.
They will tell you that they will relay information you have passed on - they won’t.
You can ask if there is anything further you need to do - they will tell you no and a month later when nothing has happened, you will realise they have just completely lied to you and wasted your time.
CultBeauty also has a distinction between Gift Vouchers and Gift Cards - which to me is arbitrary and shows the dishonest streak at CultBeauty once again.
Gift vouchers and cards are usually interchangeable terms but when CB put on a promotion where you spend money to get a voucher, they at no point broadcast the fact that this functions differently for them.

App broken. Same issue as others
Like others cannot get past the initial screen and the app won’t open. Hence app rating. Also the same steps as others but it won’t work. Many discounts for example are only in the app.

Have been a loyal customer for years and used the app with no problems. Now can’t get beyond the “ Cult Beauty “ page. Have deleted and reinstalled multiple times. Switched off VPN, switched off WiFi but nothing works. Very poor
