App does a great job finding the lower traffic routes. One issue I have is it doesn’t reroute automatically and sometimes looses my precise location. I have to stop, restart the route planning to get a correct route.
Quiet Yet Efficient Routes
Great app for finding quiet cycling routes without a 5 mile detour to avoid 100M of road like some of the other “relaxed” route finders will do. Gets me and my wife all around northern Vermont and Washington DC.
Game changer
I live in Denver, CO, USA and though there are hundreds of miles of bike paths and bike lanes on the roads throughout the area connecting a route to get from point A to point B can be a challenge.
This App is great. When I ask for a round trip it gives me loop rather than a simple out and back. The maps show all of the route options so I know where a trail goes when I cross intersecting trails.
The audio directions and alerts, even while listening to music, allow me to turn off the screen.

Easy navigation tool
I am new to this app having switched from Ride With GPS. This app fits the bill for quick and easy use. The one improvement I would suggest is the ability to allow new Bosh e-bike systems to allow direct access. There appears to be no current and simple solution to this.

Die routen an sich sind erstmal nicht schlecht aber dass nach jedem abbiegen ein budup sound kommt der medien pausiert ist unfassbar nervig

Game changer
I’m new to cycling and this app has changed how I travel! Absolutely recommend. So grateful for this free service. I struggle with directions and the turn by turn avoiding of heavy traffic and main roads means I’m using my car less and less. Thanks again!
Exceptionnel !
J’utilise l’application pour mes voyages comme pour mes sorties à la journée et vraiment il n’y a rien à redire. L’export vers garmin fonctionne parfaitement et constitue un gros plus.

Good for route planning
Really good for planning paved routes for road cycling. Much better than using google maps or others in my experience. Display is good when riding too. Easy to plan a route online and then save to phone.
Used this app on the North American Pacific Coast Bike route and it rocked.
I’ve used this app for years and have enjoyed it but it was really great when I rode the Pacific Coast Bike route and having a good route every day with really dependable and easy to understand turn-by-turn directions was awesome.

The functionality is great. I hate busy roads and will do most things to avoid them; therefore I use this planner lots! I have been a supporter ever since I found it.😇
Great cycling app with some caveats
I really like that it’s easy to see and plan with/around EuroVelo routes and other cyclist centered routes/bike paths. For this, this is the best app.
I would like for it to be more user friendly in planning from the phone or iPad for example, using it on the fly on these devices makes it clunkier and not as easily accessible/plannable. As well as (and this is quite annoying) - it should translate languages that are using different alphabets (like Greek, Cyrillic, etc)…it’s really hard not to have the latinized/romanized version for non-native speakers (at least in parallel with the original) and try to decipher where you’re actually going if you find yourself in Balkan countries for example.

Great route planning App
First time ive really used the app in ‘real’ during our cycle tour in the Balkans and its great, especially when you dont know an area and want to get from A to B on cycle friendly routes. Nice options with the oaved, gravel, standard functions and shares the routes well with Garmin and other tools etc.
Enough flexibility to force down a route you want to go by “extending to here” although an undo function would be great.
Yes some roads may be gravel that say paved (or worse) but when you are touring that is part of the adventure😃

You can just plan with a finger swipe or two clicks, or integrate it with the desktop version to save detailed routes. Can import and export a wide variety of flavours of .gpx etc for bike computers etc.
You can plan for on-road, off-road, gravel, hilly, and other route options, and it’s still the only route planner where you can specify a lit route at night.
Plus all this is free - but there’s even more options if you pay a modest fee and become a supporter.

Great for quiet lanes
Ok, the interface is not as smooth as let’s say Google Maps, but the choice of lanes makes up for it. The option to create routes ahead of time and offline is amazing.
Besser als Komoot oder Google
Beste App für Radreisen und gute Strecken. Schlägt meistens Radwege oder gute Wege abseits großer Straßen. Kann vor allem Routen direkt an Garmin senden. Alles einfach und easy zu bedienen. Besser als Komoot!
Android/Microsoft app
I tried this app. First day around Newcastle. Cluttered, clunky interface. Second day in Wales. Much tinkering with too many settings which ought to be set to the obvious default. Third day trying to cycle through Cheshire, after riding 9 hours, I realised I’d ridden in a circle. Eight hours wasted.

The best cycle map I can find
This app has everything the other cycle apps have but it’s all free and open source what else could you ask for. It works great and i intend to replace my maps app completely with this
