Why no family sharing?
I’d feel a lot happier paying the subscription cost if my husband and teenager could also share the subscription. When out walking our phones have different signal strength, and battery life. We take three phones on walks to share the risk of one not working. Yet only one can access the subscription. I can’t afford for three separate subscriptions and it seems crazy anyway seeing as we walk together.

Not for beginners
I struggled a lot with this app. The home page is not intuitive. I signed up for Premium but could not find how to open a standard topographical OS map of any UK area. I tried downloading an area but on opening it it goes blank as soon as you zoom in to the topography detail. The only maps I can access are those I have already bought in paper!

Find my walking mojo again
I used to be a long time (free) subscriber to the OS maps app whilst I had a subscription to Trail magazine.
I returned earlier this year to help me get back into the outdoors. I've been planning various routes to explore my locale and record them for others to see and use.
There's some great features to get involved in various projects and encourage people to get walking.

Pretty good
Very useful and pretty goodon the whole. When planning though, it fairly regularly refuses to snap onto an available route which renders some searches and planning completely useless
