Once a great app
Not much is left from the great reader / viewer of the past other than a rather clumsy inflexible replication of the paper issue’s pages. Stick with the print edition!
Broken app
Paid for a subscription but couldn’t use it. Couldn’t find credentials. Canceled (top of email).
App doesn't work
I really like the magazine but the app doesn't work with a subscription from Apple. I can't get a refund from Apple and the publisher can't refund either. The app keeps asking me to log in and if you don't you can't access issues.
Update - it’s got even worse!

This new app (or should that be pdf reader) has lost all of the quality that I used to associate with Cyclist Magazine. Picture quality is very poor and no longer enhances the articles they accompany. Also, where are the early editions (1 - 69) that I had with the previous version of the app and used to enjoy going back through? I will not be subscribing digitally again - unless they restore the previous quality and the full archive of earlier magazines!

New app
I sadly had to move from the old app (Cyclist) to this one. Images quality is really poor compare to the previous app and the overall user experience when navigating is less interesting. I will not continue my subscription if it stays like that.
A massive step backwards
The old Cyclist app was great - articles reformatted for reading on a small screen. This appears to be a digital upload of the paper mag. This is really disappointing and a massive step backwards for readability on a phone.

Horrific new APP
Who thought this app was an improvement? It’s awful. Someone will be losing their job over this I do believe. I will be canceling my subscription. I am sure they are trying to drive people back to print but even this version isn’t cheap. But I paid it for the great content and the ease of use on the app. I didn’t even know the app had been updated and wondered why I had no new issues since September. What a shame too as this was the only decent magazine for a discerning cyclist. I’ll just keep reading Rouleur instead. At least their app is good.

Very low resolution photos
The new app version downloads issues with very resolution images, and the magazine completely looses its appeal. The old app version was great, but its not displaying or downloading any new issues. Canceling my subscription.

Amateur Cyclist
Agree with other reviewers on the terrible quality of the updated app. I read mine on my iPhone, so I really appreciated the scaled text and images which made it a pleasure to browse. Now it is pinch and zoom every page, with no content navigation tool as before. Very poor effort Cyclist. Your subscribers deserve better than this.

Terrible ‘new’ app
The latest version of this app is simply a basic PDF reader. Gone are all of the interactive features of the very good previous version, such as reviewing photos in full screen and the ability to read clearly in portrait or landscape. Now you have to pinch & zoom to read anything. A massive retrograde step, hugely disappointing. Cyclist, you are really letting yourselves and your readers down by the cheap quality of this very basic app that is completely featureless and not remotely user friendly.
