Will not activate
Tried opening the link it emailed in 3 different mobile browsers. None will activate it.
Dashboard no longer works and End of Life
I had Cylance Mobile Security with my Cylance Antivirus for Home subscription, covering over 10 devices: iPhones iPhones, Android tablets, Mac laptop, and 2 Windows laptops. I had a subscription for almost 3 years and worked well. However, all mobile devices disappeared from the dashboard over 6 months ago. I reported the problem to Cylance tech support twice, and I was told they were aware of the problem. Plus, Imread an independent article stating that Blackberry was retiring their Home/Personal subscription offering as of end 2022. So, I terminated my automatic renewals of Cylance.
Cylance was a top performer and very advanced when it came out in 2012. Blackberry acquired it in 2019 and basically killed it.

Will Not Activate on Mobile Device
When I try, I consciously get the error “something went wrong.” The Mac version doesn't work much better for me.

Cylance is not compatible with windows 11. Got a new laptop as a gift withWindows 11 tried to download the cylance that I had on my other laptop that had windows 10. Won’t do it. Turns out it’s not compatible. There’s no number to call. For support Nobody responds to any of those technical emails you sent. They have no problems taking your money. And while trying to find someone to talk to y about the fact that they took my money for the next 3 years, and Now I can’t use it. I found a bunch of articles that Cylance was discontinued

Issue with Mobile
When you add a device (Mobile Phone), itdoesn’t work.
Can’t Activate
Desktop version is great. However, mobile version won’t activate.
Blackberry security is back!
So far so good. Make sure you switch your iPad to mobile version if you’re using the desktop browser in your iPad. Otherwise when you use IOS desktop browser it will not work. Must use iPad mobile browser.

Does not work On iPad despite multiple attempts
I would love to love this app because it works very well with my other mobile devices but iPad. I asked the support team to help me out but they gave me the same instructions over and over expecting that the result will change.. Activation does not work regardless of browser. I had to erase content (thank goodness the iPad is still brand new so it wasn’t much a problem) and still it doesn’t work. I hope BB can make an effort to truly fix this issue.

Strong supporter of pc version but the mobile version will not activate. I followed instructions to a T, but no luck. As a previous reviewer mentioned, I’ve tried using Safari, Chrome, and Edge. Useless.

I’ve been running it on my PC and it has been great and prevented files from running, I now feel secure knowing that I have it running on my iPhone
Very disappointing... not ready for prime time.
As a paying Cylance subscriber, I expected more. Program doesn’t install. No error messages or help troubleshoot.
People seem to be unable to comprehend what this app does.
As a cyber security professional, I can attest to the usefulness of this App and Cylance’s product as a whole. I began using their enterprise product at a previous employer. When I found they developed a home version of this application for PC and Mac I was quite excited. Now after some time I’m able to use the mobile version of this app for my iOS devices.
What people need to understand is, there are only a few things security wise that you need to protect on iOS. This app does all those things. The device protection checks to make sure you’re up to date, that there aren’t any abnormal activities on the device, that there’s no abnormal profiles present (profiles can contain settings that could compromise your device, profiles are commonly used by MDM solutions or MVNO wireless carriers that supply you with a profile to add to your device. But an attacker would use this to exploit your device by tricking you to install a malicious profile).
Finally network safety just warns you of potentially dangerous public networks.
Again, there’s not a lot to watch for, especially on iOS, but this app is great for that. Anyone who questions what this app does and why they can’t see more simply doesn’t understand mobile device security.

Genuinely Intuitive / Simple
BlackBerry have been a major player in the enterprise security industry for a number of years now, although there isn’t much to proactively monitor on iOS when it comes to security since there is an abundance of malware thanks to Apple’s aggressive approval and vetting of apps in the store, Cylance does a good job of taking care of the simple things that you should do to protect your data. Despite the only other 1* review of this product, Cylance do clearly state that their platform supports iOS and this is in fact a genuine app from the developer, I can recommend this security product for anyone who needs something new and better value than the competition, without compromising on security and performance!

Just perfect
Safe and secure. Just sign and subscribe on your PC for the service. Once everything is started on desktop just add a new device to your dashboard. How? Well, you add an email address which is used on your mobile and send the activation link. On mobile install the app and after that click on the link received on email.
This is BlackBerry Cylance, and you need indeed to do some research before writing no brain reviews.

What does this app do?
I have no idea what this app does, description is vague and doesn't seem to detect anything, at all! (other than if my phone is out of date - which Apple already tells me!?) What scam is this and why do you appear when I try to share a web page? Seems shady. What are you doing? This makes me not trust your virus protection on my pc. I would suggest anyone reading this wait on installing till they explain themselves and stop writing fake reviews to explain how to activate it...

If you can’t activate on IOS - check browser
I could not activate until I changed from Safari to Edge browser. Must be a setting that kept me from activating. I cut and pasted the “Invite” link into Edge browser and it activated. I’m using an IPad Pro and had downloaded the Mobile app from App Store.
