Logs you out every few weeks do not download
Was Excellent, then came the ads and extortionate ad free option …
It’s not very often an app gets worse but sadly that’s the case with the Cymru Football app.
Truth is, the app used to be fantastic, and it still really enhances the grassroots football experience for players, coaches and everyone else involved with football covered by the Cymru football app.
However, first came the ads, and whilst I’m not against monetising the app, they were too intrusive so I was pleased to see the option to go ad free - but £25 per year, are you having a laugh!!! That’s just greed.
I would never pay that for myself never mind the £100 it would cost to add my wife and 2 children to go ad free as well.
Honestly, I’m so mad just thinking about it - £5 for the year would have been excessive but I would probably accept that. That’s a fair price that other similar services offer - not £25!!!
Go back to the drawing board, stop being greedy and support the game by offering ad free at a price that’s realistic. I’d love to know how you justify it.

My earlier comments below still apply, but I'm not happy about the latest (Nov 25) update which requires a login to be created. Lots of personal data required including date of birth, because the app now, absurdly, has a minimum age limit. No need for all this...
Just about the only way to get results from Welsh football below the level of the top tier. This app has just about every league right down to U-12 level. And the scores are updated promptly so you're always up to date.
One thing I'd like to have added is a link to the league tables, as you can only access them from the scores in each league. An explanation of the promotion and relegation system for each league would also be handy. But just being able to see the results is pretty good as no-one else is publishing them. One other gripe, there are now video adverts that start without warning, and always with sound on, which is not always appropriate if you're somewhere quiet.

Get rid of the login
Please get rid of the login it always crashes🙏
Latest Updates
This used to be a simple app to keep up to date with latest scores and your kids records.
Since the ads started (with no way to switch off - offer the option to pay something for gods sake), it has become clunky and riddled with errors.
My kid has simply deleted and now can’t be bothered due to the cumbersome nature of the app.

Awful
Constantly crashing or failing to open. Never had any issue before the update to login. Why change something that worked perfectly.

App doesn’t work
Tried logging in after the stupid update now I can’t get in, it says “account not fully set up” but doesn’t help me set it up and before I got logged in it said that it sent me a code and never got the code, now when I try again it says that the account is already in the system. Also don’t know why they changed it to a log in, there was no problem without the log in system.

Data and Face ID
What is the justification of needing all my data to access what is essentially a public list of games. Also there is no Face ID so it’s painful to login!
Data farming
Since the last update you can’t use the app without giving all your data! All everyone wants these days is your data!
Brilliant app
As a referee this is a good app to see other games live in wales and it sucedes to meet that requirement, as it is connected to COMET as what match officials, players and coaches have access to it shows live events happening within the games.
