Never works
Is in a permanent state of saying ‘We could not fetch your latest changes’ making it almost useless for maintaining characters. Back to the paper version
Library section broken
I literally can’t even open my campaign book.
Amazing app!
It’s so helpful and awesome!
One Step Forward, Two Steps Back
D&D Beyond insanely helpful, especially to new players that are trying to learn the basics. As a DM, I love being able to look up spells, and monsters to plan my adventures, and my players are able to navigate better, and when they dont understand something on their sheet, they can click on it for a description. My problem starts with the words “GO TO MARKETPLACE” I understand that WOTC needs to make money somehow, but I will be looking for the perfect monster to go in my dungeon, finally find one, and realize, its behind a pay wall. “This monster looks perfect!” Oh look I need to buy a 50 Dollar DIGITAL book for it to work, (which also means if you have the physical book womp womp, you need to buy it again.) not to mention that a lot of the items that make D&D beyond good are also behind a subscription. Want to track your players stats, health, items, and rolls, you need to buy a horribly expensive DM subscription. You want to use the homebrew you just made for one of your characters? You need that same damn subscription. WOTC is a penny pinching, woke worshiping bastard, that makes you pay for something you can find online for free. Physical books I understand having to buy, but if I can find the same thing they are selling for 50 bucks on google photos, than I start to have a problem. It is useful, I like the things you don’t have to buy, but in best terms, this app has somehow found a way to make a pay to win, out of D&D.

So Slow
For some reason just launching to the home page will take (literally) 2 minutes. Once it’s launched things are fine but during those 2 min it’s impossible to tell if the app has crashed or is just being SO SLOW
Great!
Being new to D&D and the apps really helped me understand how to create a character, understand and use them. I do feel hardback books should come with digital codes though otherwise very good!
Permanently locked out
The app took a look at my parent’s face, said they didn’t meet the minimum age requirement, and locked me out PERMANENTLY. Nothing I can do.
Growing
I very much love this app it makes playing dnd with friends much easier.
Randomly stopped working
This was great until I put it on my iPad and it just randomly stopped loading anything into the app. It just sits and loads. I just use the website in the browser now.
Ya
Great for reading and looking at stats
Can’t read any of the text
Whenever I open a creature or spell. I can’t read the description. The fact that it’s black text on a dark background wasn’t a smart move
Problem
Can’t access all books in character creation.
In love with the app
The only problem I’m having is that some of the sources that are shared with me by another person I still cannot access
Dungeons & Dragons beyond is awesome
This is so helpful on helping me be able to catch up on my campaign.
Customization
Wonderful usability, effective for beginners, good for seasoned players of DND, but a striking lack of ability to homebrew items and objects for personal use and homebrew campaigns. There is a custom
Item feature, but you can’t set it up as a weapon or feature, just a title and does is all you get.

Good not great
Layout is very awkward to navigate compared to the web page. It’s functional and you can access a bit of your account stuff but I wouldn’t use the app for actual gameplay. There needs to be an easier way to navigate between sections in character sheets
Not on an iPad!
I have tried a dozen times and nothing that anyone can do will not show all of the books and adventures that I own on my iPad. Hasbro’s “Support “has no clue what they are doing.
Good app
👍
