A new issue caused by the update

This app is great and even with this issue it’s still my go-to, but it’s still a pain. When creating custom spell I can add all the information I need up until the description section, arguably the most important part. The screen no longer scrolls up to show the keyboard, instead just having it block the bottom of the screen and with it the description section. This is especially annoying for homebrew spells that so often need to be tweaked, added to, nerfed, or buffed depending on the situation. I can’t even write it all down in my notes app and then copy it down since I can’t tap on the description setting once it’s blocked by the keyboard. This was not an issue before the update so I can only assume that whatever they fixed before might have accidentally caused this issue.

Multi classing is difficult

With this app it’s very resourceful and makes tabletop DnD very smooth! My biggest complaint about it is that when multi classing it doesn’t read the full character level it just reads individual levels which makes it difficult to use since a level 3 or 4 character has level 2 spell slots but may not have level 2 spells. For example, cleric level 1 and paladin level 2 or 3 (so total level 3 or 4) has level 2 spell slots according to the Players Handbook but this app doesn’t recognize that even when you add it in manually the app won’t give the slots to you to use because you haven’t unlocked them in the individual classes

Ads have porn

Love the app, been using for years, but recently ads are pornographic. My kids are using this, so I’m deleting now.

Ads/sizing issues

Like the app for many of the reasons stated by others. But for an age 4+ rated app, the ads that run on the bottom are inappropriate. We run a mom+ kids dnd group, these are not what our 11-13 yr old boys need to see (often from a distance they look like something more inappropriate, on purpose of course, but zoomed in it’s usually not quite so bad), BUT there have been adult TOYS and other not so great items. Also, for us aging folks, if you size up your iPhone text, the app becomes difficult to use (and I am not sized up far). There should be an option in the app to reduce things if possible rather then changing the entire phone settings. The sizing adjustment is disproportionately large compared to the iPhone setting.

tortoise.

Great app! Very easy to use, great layout, extremely useful to quickly look up a spell mid-game, and has dark mode. 10/10, would recommend.
