D23 Expo
The D23 Expo application is a fine representation of what the show offers regarding presented content, a map of the show floor so users can get an idea of what’s where as well as well as setup for notification regarding schedule reminders and general news. The app is easy to navigate from users of all backgrounds. The app even has purpose for those not attending as they use the connection to You Tube to view the Expo’s greatest moments.

The app is fine. More info on app than online. But I can’t link my badge for a permanent setup of what I’ve reserved. I have to type my badge number every time I want to look.

Better than last time, but can’t add badge or reservations
App works very well, it’s had the occasional crash but it hasn’t been detrimental. However, the description expressly says you can view your reservations in the app. If you didn’t activate your badge in the app then there is no way to tie your badge to it after the fact, and therefore you can’t get your reservations attached. The reminders for events are not far enough ahead of time to make sure you can get in line before the cutoff.
Still overall a better app than 2017, and I’m hopeful they will release an update this week before the expo to fix the badge integration.

Good app but I can’t seem to connect my badge to the app.
All of the information on the app is great. However, my badge cannot be attached to the app. My badge was activated prior to me getting the app and there is no option within the app to link it. The only option is activate badge. I have done that too, which takes you back to the same activation page that you see in a browser. I place my badge numbers and enter my email address (the same one I activated my badge with) and click submit, and nothing happens. The page doesn’t do anything and the app doesn’t move on from the page. I have to click the close option and nothing gets set. This not working will definitely affect my D23 Expo experience because my reservations and badge won’t be connected to the app. If that functionality worked, it would be a 5 star for me.

Need to have a social media presence
The app was good for pre-planning but once I got to the event, it was useless. The only notifications I received were for the start of each day and the "wrap" of the event. Knowing when certain panels were full, or knowing which "stage passes" were still available would have been good to have. As it was, I spent most of my time in lines or sitting in a queue, rather than spending my money as Disney had wished. Please fix this long before the next D23--if there is even going to be one.
