For a paid subscription, this app is in desperate need of an update, the last of which was two years ago. The app continues to crash sporadically. More recently, the daily notifications have simply stopped working. I’ve reinstalled the app and it remains glitchy.

Wether you’re a diplomat, an International Relations student or a keen foreign affairs person, this app ticks all the possible boxes.
I subscribed as the price is very good and the context is top-notch with superb app functioning and great reading.

Great
Really solid App and information. I’m tracking information on here that is accurate and concise. Layout is user friendly too. Only a new user, but it’s currently my go-to for international daily briefings.
Buggy
I like the idea and bought a paid sub, but every time i open it it stays up for about a second and then closes. Unusable for me in its current state. 🤔🤔
Reliable, Non-Partisan
This has become a must read for me. It’s news with an international focus, agenda free. This makes it a rarity in today’s hyper-partisan media landscape.

Great app but not updating stories for last week. No notice about a holiday break so not sure if app is no longer supported or just on a break.

Every morning! My wake up update on world affairs
Great simple. Direct. Not slanted. Objective and fact based. Which is missing in some many other media outlets. I want the news and facts. And allow me to make my own decision. The daily brief give me that. Nice article on turkey giurleo!

Not the economist but still a good app
A good app if you want a brief snapshot covering today’s events and political developments. Nice broad range of coverage, not just the same mainstream stories you’ll read elsewhere. It is of course very similar to the Economist’s ‘Espresso’, (which is more reputable and does a better job). Sometimes Daily Brief is a bit too predictive for my taste. It would do better if its analysis stuck more to the facts. If you read long enough you’ll notice it often gets things wrong. Occasionally it’s completely empty (maybe they just forgot that day?). Still a good 2nd fiddle to the Economist to round out your daily briefs
