Stopped working
I was really enjoying this app and then recently it completely stopped working. Every time I open the app it just just stays in a page loading screen and never opens the app. Hopefully this can be fixed soon on IOS?
Great app, just one small issue
I love this idea behind this app. Having a music based devotional is such a great idea and a powerful way for the words of the devotional to come alive!
The only issue I have is with the design of the app itself, not the content. For iPhones, it’s very difficult to adjust the mini player at the bottom of the screen. If I try to grab the scrubber and go back in the devotional (instead of using the 10 sec button), my phone thinks I’m trying to access the App Switcher. Please move the mini player higher up on the screen so we can stop accidentally grabbing the whole app. Thanks!

What an awesome gift from God Almighty
My wife and I love everything about the Shane and Shane daily devotional. We have not missed a day since we found this a couple of months ago. But, with the latest update of the app, we can no longer enlarge the font on the songs and our eyesight needs a little bigger font. But that is minor in the big scheme of things. You all make my joy full every morning.

Enjoying this!
I enjoy this…both the “regular” devotional (with music) and especially the Shane&Shane “pilot” (I am a paid subscriber—well worth it). BUT, is it possible to move the “Join our new devotional pilot” window so that both the Shane&Shane Devo and the other are accessible without closing and reopening the app?

App Won’t open
I’ve tried everything to get this app to open this morning. I’ve uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Turned off my phone restarted my phone downloaded the app again. But it will not open. Not on my iPad or my iPhone.
One Suggestion
Very good devotional app. I like it’s format and simplicity.
I’d suggest a Back and Forward feature to enjoy days missed.

Devotional repeats
I originally enjoyed this app, I liked having it on my phone so it was easy to integrate into my daily routine. Unfortunately after only 2 months I’ve encountered repeat devotionals at least 3 times. Not sure if this is intentional, but it’s not what I’m looking for.
Latest Update Has Glitches
Really like this app. I get overwhelmed by other apps that have so. much. information. When other apps have calendars, weeks long plans, etc., I find it ends up stressing me out if I miss one or a few. I always feel behind and then I just don’t bother trying to catch up within those other apps.
In this app, I love that this is one a day. It is what it is. It’s a solid amount of time (about 15 minutes) for me as I prep for a day before littles wake up. I can listen to the song, or not. I can read it, or not. The versatility is how to access the information is nj e.
All that being said, the latest update no longer allows it to keep playing in the background if the screen goes dark. Also, I can no longer select the ‘Read Devotional’ option, as it doesn’t appear the button is mobile friendly? I can scroll and see it on my phone screen, but the scroll doesn’t stay down for me to select the button, if that makes sense.
I tried doing another update, but the same issues still seem to be there. If these could get fixed, then everything would be back on track with this great app!

Update needs a fix
Looks great but the audio player stops playing if your screen auto shuts off.
Great devotional
Overall great devotional. Wish I could save/bookmark my favorite Debo’s
Only one thing missing…
The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars is the inability to view previous days or devotionals. Sometimes I will listen to one and thing, “Wow, that one was SO good. I want to go back to that one.” But once the day changes, it’s sadly lost forever. It would be nice to be able to “favorite” some or provide access to previous devotionals. Other than that, this is a really great app! I listen every morning!

I love this app overall! Been listening to it for a long time now.
Few things that need to be changed:
- Have more new devos, there lots of repeats.
- Be able to go back to previous days in case you missed one or if you loved it and want to listen to it again.
- Have a spot that says what the song is for that day.
This is a great app to listen to while getting ready in the morning or on your way to wherever you are going.

I’ve just found this app and I’m amazed. Very biblical and the songs are just amazing. Thank You worship initiative team.

Why can’t I get the app to play all of a sudden?
Great app but not working suddenly
I just recently found this app and download it. It’s an amazing daily devotional app. They provide a great Christian song to listen to that goes along with the devotional. You can read the devotional while it is read to you audibly. I love Pastor John Piper and Desiring God! However, I noticed today that nothing will open. It’s just a black screen. At one point it opened, but then everything disappeared again and went to black blank screen again before I could finish the devotional. It seems there’s some glitch that needs to be fixed. I’m not gonna delete it because I’m hoping they will fix it. Prayers for app restoration🙏🏻

Love this app! What happened?
I am so grateful I found this app. And, so thankful for the Worship Initiative. I’ve used it almost every day for over a year. In a market over saturated with man-centric “How can God bless me today?” devotionals and “worship” music, this is a breath of fresh air that points only to our holy God, Christ the Son. It truly is a worshipful experience each day. Allowing me to focus on the only one deserving of that worship. Sadly, today I opened the app to a blank slate. I have tried multiple times to reboot the app. Still a blank slate. What happened? Is it still active? Please fix soon.

Sure would like to see the text size made adjustable. It is just too small for my old eyes.
Wonderful app - updated
I am really enjoying the daily songs and devotionals. I wish I could archive days that speak to me - mark as a favorite to listen again later. Also, if I miss a day, be able to go back.
Great devotionals to music with a simple app
I try to listen to these each day. My favorite day is on Sunday where i can listen to this in the car with my family on the way to church!
They’ve started posting some of these on Amazon music (artist: the worship initiative devotionals) and I got the plan on their website so that I can learn how to play these songs as well!
