What's New in Daily Flight Log

1.6

April 13, 2026

A flight details section to add pilots name, aircraft, task and a general notes section. Aircraft regos are auto saved to make a dropdown list when flying multiple aircraft and can be deleted and added in the settings. The timer section is now updated to include start and stop fuel, take off and land georeferenced location when the OK button is pressed, a flight and engine timer and ability to add passenger numbers. The flight log section is updated, and individual logs can be edited or deleted. Fuel added is attached to the current log view and can be edited or deleted. Flight logs can be saved to a cloud based file without deleting the log. Flight logs, when saved or emailed are sent as a CSV and PDF. The PDF is similar to a company journey/ Flight log. When the pop up after engine start or each landing, asks “Where are you” simply press the ok button and the location is georeferenced and saved or you can add a specific location or skip the location if not required. Fuel when added now has a time and date stamp. There is a basic fuel burn based off engine time in the CSV and PDF.

Great App

Fantastic new upgrade. Lots of new handy features. Best on the market for an all in one flight log and flight return.

Very useful app.

The app is great. A couple of tweaks would make it perfect. Like another review said, start and stop fuel (with a choice of litres, lbs, USG, and maybe even percentage) would be good, but also after you hit engine shutdown, you can’t put fuel in, so you have to put a fuel added amount before you hit engine shutdown and in a lot of cases that won’t be accurate enough so to be able to add fuel after engine shut down when you have actually got fuel added and know the exact amount would be really handy. Another handy thing would be to have a setting that allows the phone to not go into sleep mode while the app is active unless you manually choose to put it to sleep. A visible flight timer would be awesome too.
I do like how you can put where you got the fuel and from which company. The emailed log is very good also, as is the flight and engine time read outs. All round it’s a great app and the best version of this kind of thing that I’ve seen.

Finally a flight log app done properly (but how do I get in contact with the developer)?

I have searched high and low for a flight logger that doesn’t assume a shutdown after every landing (ie, there might be another takeoff)! I also love how this app cleverly asks you where you are, but doesn’t ask when it should already know. I also love the cool-down timer as it saves running a separate clock.

My main suggestions for improvement is to include:
- the ability to manual amend a recorded time (for eg, in circumstances where you might have forgotten to press takeoff at the moment of taking off etc).
- the ability to log start and shutdown fuel on board, not just fuel added (& with the option of using different fuel units instead of litres ... such as USG, pounds, kilograms). This could perhaps best be done as a question, like the ‘where are you’ question, instead it would of course be ‘how much fuel is onboard?’

How do I get in touch with the developer? The prodigy mobile link doesn’t work ...

Please show actual time as it accrues.

Can you please make it so the time is visible so we know how long it's been.

I use this app for Joyflights and I need to know exactly how much time has passed.
