What Social Media Should Be

Daily Haloha has truly changed my life and given me a new perspective on what it means to connect. I have really been struggling with loneliness and feeling isolated recently and Daily Haloha has really helped me to understand that you are truly never alone. The simplicity of the app made it so easy to make it a part of my routine and I genuinely look forward to answering the question each day. I love being able to connect with people from all over the world and people who I know will not judge me. I would highly recommend giving your mental health the gift of Daily Haloha and making it a part of your daily routine!

Absolutely Amazing App!

This is the best way to start my day, it brings a much positive energy or let's me get a bit curious about life and I love it! I love that you can see what other people reply with, where they come from and the fact that it relates to emotions/moods. Perfect for short attention spans!

I am always told to journal, or meditate, etc I’m order to be mindful but it takes too long and I never follow through with those. This app is perfect, it’s quick if you would like it to be and you feel heard by others while remaining anonymous. It makes me stop and be mindful at least once a day. The interface is also really cute, I recommend this app!

Joy and belonging in a global community 🌞

Simple, elegant, and compelling. I love the thoughtfulness that went into creating this experience, and the mindfulness it creates in me every day. 2 minutes of self-reflection, positive affirmation, and seeing how wonderful the world is, how similar we all are, how even the things that make us different can be celebrated. A perfect oasis of authentic joy and belonging in the desert of a divided and often hostile world. A respite of calm and positivity I look forward to each and every day!

I believe many of us know the positive effects of gratitude in our lives. I love my daily haloha for many reasons, but one is that it is my daily gratitude journal. It gives me a space to express my own gratitude and to experience others’.

Wow!

I typed in “Positive Uplifting” into the search tab in the App Store and Haloha popped up, I clicked it, checked it out, and immediately downloaded. Upon opening the app from the very get go I was drawn into the warmth and welcoming mood the app creates. I started with my first question and was walked through my very first Haloha Swap, and the entire experience from beginning to end was just so positive and uplifting! Exactly what I had been searching for! This app is amazingly uplifting and instantly made me feel happy! Who ever made this app had the right idea!

Very Cute

I really like this app and look forward to it. I love the anonymity and the fact people can’t contact each other outside of the premade responses. I like the simplicity, but I think the app needs a little more to it. There have also been multiple times where I don’t get any responses or reactions to my Haloha.

Really nice but needs update

Really love this apps prompts so far an it’s great to get back into a good mindset. Very helpful an positive !
But I feel like the app needs some pizazz to make it more interesting, like maybe 1-3 prompts a day instead of one. Definitely needs extension on the letter count, an smaller fonts, I love writing. Or a different layout for all the ones I’ve written because they are so big I have to scroll for awhile. and maybe the ability to connect with community deeper somehow. Like a profile or or things to collect in some way an add others

Bites Size Bit of Reflection and Connection

I love this app because of how each day it gives me the perfect opportunity to reflect and share my reflection with the community. It is the perfect amount of effort for a high quality result. I love how it also journals all my reflections so I can look back over the year and see where I was at. The app is easy to use and designed beautifully.

Saves me from my isolation

Whether having to isolate due to COVID, or the sometimes self imposed isolation from the general airwaves of negative combativeness - Daily Haloha gives me a connection I think so many of us are craving. With the simple three step process it’s like a Big Bang hug of connectivity that warms my heart every time I use it! A simple prompt to express what your emotions are in the moment and then Bam your little paper airplane goes out into the universe and thousands catch it sending you back messages that surprise and strengthen you for your day. Messages that make me smile, giggle, or pause for a moment of gratitude. It’s just what we need to bring us all together in this disconnected world - a place where we can all belong just as we are. Thank you!

Holding hands with the world

This is my favorite app I’ve ever used. The way it connects you to others from across the world is just incredible! I love seeing how others react to my words and the mini quotes that we are given to us every day are like a gift. We all have good and bad days, some worse or better than others, but this app welcomes you to step outside of your own world that you created and be mindful of the rest of it. I feel more at peace and happy when I think about a question from the app and put my all into the answer. As an aspiring writer, this app makes me feel the most me, it’s where I let my ideas run free. I hope you try it for yourself, it will welcome you with open arms ❤️

Social Media with Love & Empathy

I absolutely love this app! I use it everyday in the morning to get myself into an open, positive mental state from the very beginning of the day. I love how once you answer the question of the day, you immediately get randomly paired with another person’s answer to the question. I also think the feature that allows you to respond to other people’s answers is amazing—it always brightens my day to see that someone said they related to my answer or thought it was touching, and I love letting other people know how their answers made me feel. This app is an amazing example of what every social media app should strive for: cultivating mindful empathy and love for one another, rather than distraction and status-seeking. So glad that it exists!

So encouraging

I don’t think I’ve EVER written a review before but this app is so upbuilding. I can share my feelings, no one knows who I am ... and then they reply with a short but helpful friendly reply. I can say somthing deep and people understand and don’t judge me bc they don’t know me, they only see my words. And everyone is so supportive and sweet, it’s the best thing after a long day seeing what people said to my response. No complaints and I will keep this app forever 💛

ONG- this app is the BEST!!!

For those who want to improve the relationship they have with themselves, with more kindness and open curiosity, this app is the perfect place to start. And for those who want to feel more connected to oneself and others - why we are on this freaking planet in the first place - this app is a must! Engage in a little healthy self discovery and self reflection while also getting the opportunity to learn from and learn about others. It is such a delight to start my day with an Haloha question! Amazing app for reflection and connection

I love this app! It is social media without any of the detriments! You can scroll and connect and learn about people’s inner workings without feeling like you need to socially compare or you get fomo. Starting your morning routine with Daily Haloha has been such a game changer for my mental health!
