About

Daily Dose is a medication reminder app that stays out of the way. No subscription, no account, no data leaving your phone. You add your medications, it reminds you, and you tap once to mark them done. WHAT IT DOES Each medication gets its own schedule: daily, specific days of the week, every few hours, once a month, or on a custom cycle. You set the time, and a notification shows up at that time. Missed a dose? It marks it as missed in your history. One-tap logging from the notification: You can mark a dose as taken or skipped straight from the Lock Screen without opening the app. Tap, done, phone back in your pocket. SCAN THE LABEL: Point the camera at your medication's label or box. Daily Dose reads the name, strength, and dosage from the text on the packaging using your phone's built-in text recognition. No barcode database. Scan a new box of the same medication later and it tops up your supply count automatically. SUPPLY TRACKING: Enter how many pills or doses you have. Daily Dose counts down with each logged dose and reminds you when you're getting close to running out, before you actually do. HISTORY RECORD A weekly and monthly view shows your adherence day by day, medication by medication. The numbers are calculated the same way across every screen so they always agree. Doses marked late are noted as late; doses not logged are counted as missed. DOCTOR REPORT: Export a clean PDF showing your adherence over the past 7 or 30 days, formatted for an appointment. It includes a daily chart, per-medication breakdown, and a list of notable timing differences, doses taken significantly earlier or later than scheduled. The report is generated entirely on-device and shared via the standard iOS share sheet. QUIET HOURS: Scheduled reminders always fire. Follow-up nudges and refill alerts observe quiet hours so you are not woken up for something that can wait until morning. PRIVATE BY DESIGN There is no account to create. Everything stays on your device. Your medications, schedules, and history are stored locally on your device and never transmitted anywhere. The only way data leaves is a backup file you export yourself and share however you like. The app does not track you across other apps or websites. NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE Daily Dose helps you keep track of medication that has already been prescribed to you. It does not give medical advice, check for drug interactions, or replace your doctor or pharmacist. Always follow the instructions you were given. BACKUP AND RESTORE You can export a full backup from Settings at any time and restore it on the same device or a new one. Backups are plain files you control.
