What's New in Daily Planner & Goals

3.52.3

September 7, 2026

RELIABLE PROGRESS ON YOUR GOALS We rebuilt task counts and completion progress on goals, so the numbers on a goal are right every time. IMPROVEMENTS - The color you pick for a goal, life area, Smart List, or tag is now clearly marked with a checkmark. - Menus that list your available calendars now group them per connected calendar account. - Better colors and more contrast in dark mode. BUG FIXES - Fixed a bug where creating a Smart List with the "Has duration" filter returned an error. - Fixed a bug where the completion percentage was off on some goals. - Fixed a bug where the notification for a calendar event showed the wrong start time in some time zones. - Fixed a bug where tasks were synced to your calendar twice in some time zones. - Fixed a bug where some recurring tasks and habits skipped the last day of the week. - Fixed a bug where typing a goal target with a comma, like 12,5 instead of 12.5, could crash the app. - Fixed a bug where some repeating events from Google Calendar showed a broken translation of their repeat schedule. - Fixed a bug where some events from Google Calendar showed an empty reminder time field.

Great app

Quite possibly my favorite tracking app for habits and goals. Bringing these together just makes sense and the developer’s dedication to the app, continuously making it better, is great! I’m tired of the apps I pay for becoming unusable.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the great review. It means a lot! Team Griply

Life Design

I love productivity and life design. Griply with its life areas, goals, habits and tasks makes it so easy to do.

Tutorials included in app make it super easy to get to ‘grips’ with it :)

Response from developer

Thank you for the kind words, and the pun! We put a lot of care into making the tutorials useful, so it's great to hear they helped you hit the ground running. Hope Griply keeps supporting your life design journey. Team Griply

Thanks to Griply

Hello, Griply Development Team.

I am a user who recently started using Griply for goal management. First of all, I would like to express my deepest gratitude and respect for Griply's wonderful philosophy and vision, which helps me create a "better tomorrow than yesterday" and grow step by step. After using the app, I deeply resonated with the value Griply offers, which led me to subscribe to the Premium plan without hesitation. I have instantly become a huge fan of Griply. Thank you so much for helping me experience the joy of daily improvement.

While Griply is a functionally excellent platform, I would like to politely make a few suggestions for future improvement regarding some minor difficulties I experienced.

Currently, Korean language support is not available, which made it a bit challenging to get used to the app at first. In particular, I am still finding it a bit difficult to set up "quantitative key results (measurable goals)" and implement them within the app. It feels a bit disappointing that I am not able to fully utilize 100% of the amazing features Griply has to offer.

Although the tutorial videos on your official YouTube channel are helpful, it would be wonderful if more diverse and detailed guide videos could be added in the future. Especially, if these guides include specific examples of goal setting that beginners can easily follow, I am confident that it will become an even more useful platform for many users around the world.

I am truly excited to continue growing and improving alongside Griply. I will always be rooting for you. Thank you!

Response from developer

Thank you for the kind words, and welcome to Premium! Korean language support isn't available yet, but you can add your vote on our feature board so it gets the attention it deserves. For getting started with measurable goals, we have a guide in our help center (griply.app/help) which walks through the setup step by step. There's also other ones which covers tracking your progress. More tutorial content is something we're building out, so your feedback on that front is noted. Thanks for being here, Team Griply

Best Goals and Tasks App Available!

I’ve been looking for a comprehensive goal tracking and management solution for a while. I participated in a beta trial and feedback period for one app, and they just kept missing the mark (and then they abandoned it). I then built my own solution shortly before finding Griply, but even my solution for my own vision didn’t come close to being what Griply is, and I abandoned it.

The dev team behind Griply has really thought of everything, and they’re incredibly responsive to customer feedback and requests. The mind behind Griply is open to feature requests, but she has a clear vision for what a goal management app should be and what it should not be, and she’s very discerning about which requests belong and which requests are just feature bloat. I absolutely love that!

Simple habit trackers and heatmaps are pretty and fun, but if you want to really set goals and work towards them, Griply is the only environment I’ve found that truly supports that. Goals have a component hierarchy in Griply, and subgoals also get their own hierarchy. Habits and tasks all tie back to goals/subgoals and their completion feeds goal progress.

And then there’s the analytics and different views to capture your plans and progress at a glance! Seriously, it’s an incredible app and the only one I’ve found that supports true longterm planning.

Response from developer

Thank you so much, this made our day! Building your own solution and still finding Griply worth switching to is about the highest compliment we could ask for. We're happy that we share the same vision: goals that actually connect to your daily actions, not just a pretty heatmap floating in isolation. We have so much more to come and can't wait to show it to you all. Thanks again, Team Griply
