What's New in Daily Planner & Goals

3.51.0

July 20, 2026

REPEAT A HABIT EVERY FEW DAYS Set a habit to repeat on a fixed interval like every 3 days, counting from its start date. FILTER AND GROUP TODAY Focus Today by life area, goal, tag, priority, and more, then group what's left by tag. FILTER UPCOMING Focus Upcoming by life area, goal, tag, priority, and more. FILTER ROADMAP SUBGOALS Focus a goal's roadmap by filtering its subgoals on active goals, goal impact, start date, or deadline. FILTER GOALS IN A LIFE AREA Focus a life area by filtering its goals on active goals, goal impact, start date, or deadline. RESET FILTERS, KEEP YOUR VIEW Clear your filters with "Reset filters" while keeping the grouping and sorting you set up. YEARLY HABIT DATES IN THE EDITOR Pick a specific yearly date like 22 Jul for a habit straight from the schedule editor. SEARCH THAT IGNORES ACCENTS Find tasks, goals, life areas, and tags without matching accents, so cafe turns up café. PERFECT WEEKS FOR EVERY-DAY HABITS A perfect week now means hitting your daily target every day, like 10,000 steps a day. CHOOSE WHEN A SCHEDULE CHANGE APPLIES When you edit a habit's schedule, choose whether it applies from today or from the beginning, with logged entries untouched. BUG FIXES - Fixed a bug where duplicating a goal did nothing and no copy was created. - Fixed a bug where a life area could show a placeholder on the next app launch after uploading an image. - Fixed a bug where calendar events didn't appear in certain timezones. - Fixed a bug where editing a task's title or description wasn't saved if you closed the dialog with the (x) while still typing. - Fixed a bug where the habit widget showed a white bar in 'clear' widget mode. - Fixed a bug where the habit widget ignored your week start setting in some cases. - Fixed a bug where a habit opened full screen from the widget couldn't be closed because the (x) didn't work. - Fixed a bug where the Today widget hid a habit at partial completion instead of only when it was fully complete for the day. - Fixed a bug where the calendar sat slightly behind the toolbar on iOS 27. - Fixed a bug where a goal with all its subgoals archived showed a broken empty table instead of the option to create a subgoal. - Fixed a bug where subgoals of an archived parent goal still appeared in the goal detail and life area detail views. - Fixed a bug where archived goals and life areas still appeared in the Favorites section. - Fixed a bug where a task appeared twice on the same calendar day when its planned date and deadline both fell on that day. - Fixed a bug where a habit disappeared from the calendar once it reached 100% completion for the week. - Fixed an issue where the German Today view labeled the morning section "Morgen" (which also means tomorrow), now labeled "Vormittag". - Fixed a bug where a habit with a start date in the future didn't show its planned occurrences on the calendar before that date.

Life Design

I love productivity and life design. Griply with its life areas, goals, habits and tasks makes it so easy to do.

Tutorials included in app make it super easy to get to ‘grips’ with it :)

Response from developer

Thank you for the kind words, and the pun! We put a lot of care into making the tutorials useful, so it's great to hear they helped you hit the ground running. Hope Griply keeps supporting your life design journey. Team Griply

The App

Very very very good app, any other app claiming personal productivity till now , is nowhere near

Response from developer

Thank you, that means a lot! If you ever have suggestions for making it even better, we'd love to hear them at griply.featurebase.app. Team Griply

Best Goals and Tasks App Available!

I’ve been looking for a comprehensive goal tracking and management solution for a while. I participated in a beta trial and feedback period for one app, and they just kept missing the mark (and then they abandoned it). I then built my own solution shortly before finding Griply, but even my solution for my own vision didn’t come close to being what Griply is, and I abandoned it.

The dev team behind Griply has really thought of everything, and they’re incredibly responsive to customer feedback and requests. The mind behind Griply is open to feature requests, but she has a clear vision for what a goal management app should be and what it should not be, and she’s very discerning about which requests belong and which requests are just feature bloat. I absolutely love that!

Simple habit trackers and heatmaps are pretty and fun, but if you want to really set goals and work towards them, Griply is the only environment I’ve found that truly supports that. Goals have a component hierarchy in Griply, and subgoals also get their own hierarchy. Habits and tasks all tie back to goals/subgoals and their completion feeds goal progress.

And then there’s the analytics and different views to capture your plans and progress at a glance! Seriously, it’s an incredible app and the only one I’ve found that supports true longterm planning.

Response from developer

Thank you so much, this made our day! Building your own solution and still finding Griply worth switching to is about the highest compliment we could ask for. We're happy that we share the same vision: goals that actually connect to your daily actions, not just a pretty heatmap floating in isolation. We have so much more to come and can't wait to show it to you all. Thanks again, Team Griply

Perfect

I‘ve been using Griply for a long time now and can say that it‘s the best ToDo app for my needs. I tried Todoist, Things, Notion and others, but always come back to Griply. I love how the live areas, goals and todos work together. Thanks Griply!

Response from developer

Thank you for the kind words! Knowing you've tried the full graveyard of apps and keep coming back to Griply is exactly the kind of feedback that keeps us going. We put a lot of care into making life areas, goals, and tasks feel like one connected system rather than separate lists, so great to hear it's working for you. Thanks, Team Griply

Great Idea but Needs Improvements

Downloaded today and I do love the design and setup, I think it will be genuinely helpful.

However already noticing some annoyances that if not fixed may be a deciding factor on whether I continue to use it. It’s mostly related to just editing changes. No matter how many times I change a metric, a due date, etc. it just will not save. I usually just delete it all and start over but that is certainly annoying. Hopefully a bug that can be fixed!

Response from developer

Thanks for the great review! We’d love to investigate what’s going wrong so we can fix it. To look into this, we need a few more details: - Which device and OS version are you on? (e.g. iPhone 17, iOS 26.1) - Are you editing tasks, goals, or both? - Does it happen every time, or only in certain spots? If you can share more at support@griply.app, we can investigate further. Thanks in advance! Team Griply
