Eat more of the foods that matter most, one tap at a time.
Daily Plants is a calm, private checklist for whole-food, plant-based eating. It's built around the Daily Dozen and the Twenty-One Tweaks from Dr. Michael Greger's books "How Not to Die" and "How Not to Diet".
YOUR DAY AT A GLANCE
Tap + each time you have a serving of beans, berries, greens, whole grains and the rest. Each serving fills in a dot, the tally shows how far you've got ("14 of 21"), and finished items move down to Done today, so what's left stays at the top. Complete them all and the app celebrates with you.
TWO CHECKLISTS, NOTHING COUNTED TWICE
• Daily Dozen: 12 food groups to eat every day, from "How Not to Die".
• Twenty-One Tweaks: 21 habits from "How Not to Diet", like drinking water before meals, adding vinegar, eating without distractions and getting enough sleep.
Use one or both. Where they overlap, like Beverages and Stay Hydrated, one serving counts toward both. You can also turn off any item you don't want to track.
KNOW WHAT COUNTS
Tap an item to see its serving size, which foods count, and why it matters, with a link to learn more on NutritionFacts.org. Missed a day? Go back and fill it in.
KEEP GOING
• A streak for every day in a row you complete your checklist
• 31 achievements, from your first perfect day to a year-long streak
• Weekly and monthly averages, your last 7 days, and a breakdown for each item
• Optional weight tracking with a goal and a trend chart, in metric or imperial units
LEARN AS YOU GO
The Resources page brings the latest articles, videos, podcast episodes, recipes, Q&A and webinars from NutritionFacts.org into the app. Search their whole archive, then read the full piece on their site.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your diary stays on your device. No account, no ads, no tracking, no subscription. The app only goes online to load the public NutritionFacts.org feeds. Export a full backup whenever you like, and import it on another device.
