Encouraging and inspiring
This is a great app that I go to after my morning prayer and Bible reading. It helps focus your day on Jesus. I purchased the app to get no ads. After a while the ads turned on again- this was an easy fix by going into settings and clicking ‘restore purchases’. The ads went away! Overall I recommend this devotional- God bless!

Heaven sent daily guidance
This is heaven sent guidance. I love to connect with God daily in the am to start my day. The scripture based readings assist me with this. They lift me up and motivate and edify me. Also, need a little help sometimes to start morning prayer and this helps with that too providing reminders, topics and directions.

And now I’m getting ads and I’ll have to pay to remove them. That’s fair, but I thought I had already paid years ago when I first got the app because until now I’ve never had ads. And they would be for TEMU which is a Chinese company. Can’t you at least find ads from American companies?
See original review below. Apparently the developers either can’t or won’t fix the app. I wonder if they even read the reviews. I downgraded to two stars until the formatting is fixed. Why give the option for black lettering on a “white” background if that’s not what you get?
Good app but the formatting needs work. Because of my eyesight, a white background with dark black lettering is easier to read. I selected that option, but that’s not what you get. Once you scroll up, the background turns gray with a light black lettering. I mentioned this a while back, but it hasn’t changed. Otherwise I would rate it at 5 stars. I love that it has both Faith’s Checkbook and Spurgeon’s Mourning and Evening Devotions in one app. I used to have two different apps from this developer but having them together is definitely a bonus.
