Life changing
So helpful to my walk in the Lord. The encouragement sharing buttons have helped me to share the Lord and comfort with my friends and family. Quite the blessing, do not overlook this small app.
Keep it simple.
Spurgeon was a passionate preacher, and this app is valuable. However, it’s getting too fancy for my taste. I’ll always prefer paper books, which simply present the text. Shouldn’t pander to modern readers looking for entertainment-style apps.
Encouraging and inspiring
This is a great app that I go to after my morning prayer and Bible reading. It helps focus your day on Jesus. I purchased the app to get no ads. After a while the ads turned on again- this was an easy fix by going into settings and clicking ‘restore purchases’. The ads went away! Overall I recommend this devotional- God bless!

Heaven sent daily guidance
This is heaven sent guidance. I love to connect with God daily in the am to start my day. The scripture based readings assist me with this. They lift me up and motivate and edify me. Also, need a little help sometimes to start morning prayer and this helps with that too providing reminders, topics and directions.

Daily Spurgeon
This app. is a great way to start my day, reading or listening to the word of God. Easy to navigate and such a blessing.
Good overall app, but!
Apparently a review doesn’t mean much to the developers. See reviews below.
And now I’m getting ads and I’ll have to pay to remove them. That’s fair, but I thought I had already paid years ago when I first got the app because until now I’ve never had ads. And they would be for TEMU which is a Chinese company. Can’t you at least find ads from American companies?
See original review below. Apparently the developers either can’t or won’t fix the app. I wonder if they even read the reviews. I downgraded to two stars until the formatting is fixed. Why give the option for black lettering on a “white” background if that’s not what you get?
Good app but the formatting needs work. Because of my eyesight, a white background with dark black lettering is easier to read. I selected that option, but that’s not what you get. Once you scroll up, the background turns gray with a light black lettering. I mentioned this a while back, but it hasn’t changed. Otherwise I would rate it at 5 stars. I love that it has both Faith’s Checkbook and Spurgeon’s Mourning and Evening Devotions in one app. I used to have two different apps from this developer but having them together is definitely a bonus.

I look forward to this feeding of my soul every morning.
So Good!!
I read some of spurgeons words recently and really liked it and I then found this app and decided to give it a try. I really enjoy it! I love the layout and the different devotionals that you do each day. I’m not a big devotional person because I personally feel like they tend to not be super biblical. The ones i’ve read anyways. This one is not like that at all!! Super biblical, convicting, and Jesus has helped me grow through this alot in the little time i’ve had the app. I really have no complaints about the app at all. I love Spurgeons work and this has countless messages from him which are easily understandable and it’s not cupcake christianity either which I love. If you want to be convicted and challenged to grow deeper in your faith then I recommend this 100%!!

Excellent devotional app!
Bookend your days with this devotional
Simple, practical, wise. The way the Lord speaks through Spurgeon will wake up your spirit and inspire you to dig into His word. Bookend your day with Morning and Evening but between those times, study his word. This should not be your only biblical touchpoint in the day.

This was mostly written more than 100 years ago. I must say next to the Bible, it is the most helpful thoughtful devotional ever written! Charles Haddon Spurgeon was a true wordsmith inspired by Our Lord to write for All Generstions. Anyone who reads these will be blessed by them. They are insightful, uplifting and just as relevant today as when they were written.

Wonderful Blessing
This app has made Spurgeon not only accessible, but supplements the devotions with other material that helps draw us closer to the Word.
So helpful
Takes Spurgeon and puts him at your fingertips in a concise and appealing way.
Amazing app, amazing support
I’ve been using this app for a few years now. It’s by far my favorite surgeon morning/evening devotional app. It has a clean UI and works well. Also, big shoutout to Victor for going above and beyond to help me resolve an issue I had with my subscription after updating my phone. He responded promptly and directly, and he made it right.

Love this app. Deserves more than just 5 stars!!!
I love this app. Been reading it for a few years now and is as important to me as much as reading the Bible is. Charles Spurgeon’s insight and teachings of the Bible is beyond spectacular. His love for our Father, Jesus and our Holy Spirit is so evident; just precious. Such a beautiful way to start and end each day.
