Subscription is so annoying
I think the app overall is decent other than the subscription service, it’s so annoying I don’t mind it if get ads or something, my problem is that I get a notification for a story, I click on it, and it is only for + members, DONT SEND ME A NOTIFICATION IF I CANT SEE IT
Disappointed
I hate that I’m having to write this. I have been getting my information from Daily wire for a few months and love it till this last few weeks. It has gotten to the point that half the articles will only allow you to read partial and then ask to pay monthly/ yearly. Many of the articles are much needed information. I would rather watch an ad than pay subscription to finish an educational article. So with that I am going to delete the app. Thanks for being informative while you were.

I love DW but why is my comments section not working?
I haven’t been able to comment on anything for months now, thought it was a bug and it’s never been fixed. Love the content but I’d like to be able to comment.

Bring to WatchOS
All this needs to move from 3-5 stars is a way to bring my premium, paid, ad free content to my Apple Watch while running.
Currently, I have to take my phone or listen to ads on Podcast. Let’s get an audio version of the shows to WatchOS!

Terrible Customer Support
This same complaint is rampant in online reviews. I had believed that I canceled my subscription 2 years ago. This year they told me to update my payment method or else I cannot keep my subscription. I explained I had previously canceled and do not want to renew. They got my bank to push it through a week later and is now telling me there is nothing I can do. I received no renewal notice. I can’t prove I canceled two years ago so now I’m on the hook even though I explicitly told them not to charge me. Doesn’t count I guess.

Generally good
Like the title says, generally good UI, easy to navigate. However, it would greatly benefit from a search bar for articles, not just the shows. They had one but got rid of it for some reason. Also the new download feature is clutch. Bring back that search bar and this goes to 5 stars

Make this work with Apple Accessibility for visually impaired listeners
The application is not friendly for Accessibility features for Blind and low vision users. The technology team must work to make the system work with screen readers so that the 10 million people with vision impairment can enjoy this content.
Advertisements After Paying
For years they marketed memberships as ad-free and now they are showing ads. They are doing it on purpose to see how much they can get away with doing to you. We are owed a public apology and a free membership that is triple the length of time that these ads have been running.
Not Very Good Anymore
Having subscribed to Daily Wire for the past several years, the news articles and slants feel like it has gone downhill in the past year-ish. The celebrity news pieces and the extremely biased (and often now, illogical) opinion pieces are making this service less worth the cost. With Jeremy Boring gone and Jordan Peterson out of pocket, this service seems to lack wisdom and judgement on how to write and select worthy news.
I really only subscribed to support a service that was giving Jordan Peterson an open platform.

Ads for Paid Members
Just canceled my subscription after 6 years. Ads for paid members is ridiculous. Why would I pay if I’m going to get ads anyway? “Limited ads” does not cut it for paid subscribers. Get rid of them completely or you’re going to lose more paying members

As a paid subscriber, it seems very lame that I have to watch ads before every video. I am considering not renewing my subscription and just going back to YouTube.

Most expensive subscription I have. But I’ve enjoyed some of the specials like Bill Whittle hope I’m spelling that correctly. The app is a pain on my tv, requiring login every time I open it, 50/50 on iPhone. I had cancelled my subscription when rates went up last time but it renewed anyway so that button obviously doesn’t work. Came for Michael Knowles. Leaving because of the ads/price.

Zero customer service
I had a billing issue and I’ve looked all over the Internet and they’ve hidden the ability to get help so well that there’s no way to contact the daily wire directly deal with anything but they’re still gonna take your money
Good content but app is going downhill
Last month (May 2026) DW started including ads in the app for paid members. The adds are both in the main page feed and dispersed through the articles as full screen adds that make them easy to accidentally trigger as you scroll. Why pay if they are still going to spray you with aggressive adds?
Too many notifications
Your notifications are like a fire hose, let me choose what to be notified about. I’m getting like 30 a day and it’s too much. I want absolute breaking news not Fox News breaking news.

Hate the June 2026 update
Now there are ads at the bottom even though I am a paid subscriber. Also, when I leave the app even for only a few seconds, the article goes back to the top of the page instead of staying where I was when I return to the app.

Even with a paid subscription they are pushing external ads! Way too many pop ups. Love the content; hate the ads/ui/app. Just cancelled after years. Unacceptable!
