What an incredible app

So many features, so polished. Updated frequently & am constantly wowed by how smart the automations it makes are for the Champions format when calcing. Takes out a lot of work.

Can’t believe it’s free!

Great!

Great app!

Slightly confusing in the beginning but overall very well put together

TLDR: lacking poke paste but very good calculator.

To start, i highly recommend going into settings and turning off "Champions mode". This is on by default and changes EVs and IVs to Stat points, which are more ambiguous and not used outside of champions.

Second, you can only select up to 4 pokemon in the speed calculator. I can understand why, but i was hoping i could input a big list of pokemon and create a speed teir chart, if this gets added i will change my rating. Otherwise this is a great alternative to the showdown calculator.

There are many small pieces of polish such as natures being grouped by what stat they boost and the option to change what specific game you're playing in show the developers genuinely put effort into this.

The lack of poke paste option is a very big issue however, the time it takes to import your and other pokemon manually means it can't be used mid battle (if you're that kind of person) and means you can swap between different pokemon on a team to quickly test calcs. This alone knocks it down to 4.5 stars for me, however if this gets added i will change my rating.

Response from developer

Hi, in Settings > Manage Custom Builds, you can find an option to import builds from pokepaste. I’ll look into the speed calculator change but in general my goal is not to replace existing desktop calculators but provide a mobile-friendly alternative, so advanced features like that tend to be out of scope for this app.

Great app! Just one thing to add.

I was really surprised by everything in this app but when I was trying the berry icon I noticed that it only uses the berries that reduces super effective moves. I was wondering if you could add the other berries like sitrus berry

A rare Gym (Gem)!

I swear this app keeps getting better and better! I’m a long-time Pokémon fan and also an avid competitive player in the online community, and I cannot say enough how immensely useful and fun this app is to use.

The UI is smooth and intuitive, and the damage outputs are all accurate. I also really love that you guys have finally added the ability to calculate damage of any move with any Pokémon! This is helpful especially for us competitive online players who use Natdex and other imaginative battle formats for team builds. Before now, I’d always have to use Showdown’s calculator, which is fine but is not at all fun or intuitive to use on mobile. This app has the best of both worlds. Fast, accurate, and more than enough tools to use for developing both in-game strategies and exploring other team builds for more free and creative battle formats online.

If you guys add a feature where you could add any ability onto any Pokémon for hypothetical scenarios, this app would be a perfect 10 out of 10 for me. But even now, it’s still an absolute must have for any Pokémon fan out there.
