Fails before use
Unfortunately this app can not be used as it seemingly offers a secure login, but does not actually implement one. You simply can not use a signer to login. It won’t accept it. Scan a qr code, it just never actually scans it you stand there all day. Copy and paste a bunker url it fails every single time. In trying to get people to join the Nostr community the one thing we are told is never paste your nsec and for whatever reason that is all this app will accept. Shame as it looks nice

Clean ui, poor performance
I want to like it but it has been performing extremely poorly on my iPhone 13 over the last few months, scrolling is really choppy and the app is almost unusable with the UI freezing up. It’s also taking up a huge amount of storage space, close to 9 GB and clearing cache removed only a few MBs. Disappointing because it has my favorite UI among nostr apps and notifications also works the best.

Need to fix the relay connectivity
I just got this app and it seems fine so far but I can’t connect to any relays at all. Had the app open for like 10 min trying to connect to one, checked the spelling in case I was missing something. But it keeps cycling between ‘connecting’ and ‘error’.
This app promotes too much child pornographers/pornagraphy.
You guys need to get rid of those users selling and showcasing videos of children have sex in real life and A.i. these are children being raped/drugged/tricked and some are probably dealing with mental illness. Please, get rid of CHILD PORN OFF YOUR PLATFORM. Jesus said “ whoever would cause these little children to Sin, it is better you tie a rope with a brick around your neck and cast yourself into the bottom of the sea.” Please help these children by not letting users post that evil on your platform.

Good Nostr app
The app works well for being somewhat early in it's development. You can't undo reposts and likes but that's because when you like and post stuff on nostr clients (not just Damus) it is doing so on multiple relays which kinda blows but that's what makes it immune to central control so it's actually a good thing.

Claims to be unbias and decentralized but its not if you say the wrong things they block you from posting .. Do not use this joke much worse than x controlled 100% by the globalists
Kinda good app but needs some serious work 😒
Why when I try to add a profile pic or banner frame it crashes or glitches for me or doesn’t work at all you guys need to fix this asap and also that app does has potential 📱❤️ so you could probably add more features and options to make it easier or at least more understandable for new users! I also notice that the feed glitches and are videos and post disappear and reappear to and sometimes hashtags do not work for me so look into that also. see ya 👋

Testing several and this one performs very well.

My daily driver for all things nostr. Really like all the features and the reliability. The design is great and it just works.
Not worth the storage space.
Been a member for over a year and my last like and follow was over a year ago. I have received no new follows, likes, or zaps in a very long time. It’s like a ghost town!
Medieval
No way to clear cache except complete uninstall, with cache going upward of 1GB after 10 minutes of browsing. Follower count loading at random or not at all. Usernames not loading properly. Undoing likes impossible. Welcome to the Middle Ages.
So pure
No ads. No algorithm. So pure. And you can zap (send bitcoin instantly)
Search & Music
I like that we can clear the cache unlike other apps, but the search feature forces a hashtag search, and even the hashtag results are more limited than Primal. I really appreciate the integration with Apple Music. Damus is also better at uploading videos. UI looks more sleek than my last version of Amethyst.
