Great concept, needs polish
Hey! I've been enjoying Pixelfed and I really like the idea of an ad-free, algorithm-free place to share photos. That's exactly what I've been looking for, and I'm glad it exists. My only wish is that the app ran a bit more smoothly, since scrolling and loading can feel laggy at times. It would also be amazing to see it adopt Apple's new Liquid Glass design. I'm really excited to see where it goes. Thanks for all your hard work!

Doesn’t seem to work
I have a log in. Have posted photos.
Now I get an ‘Oops somethings not working’ and when I click on my profile it doesn’t have my details and just says ‘User’ and gives an option to edit my profile.

Location on photos
I find it strange that you can’t turn off the location inclusion of photos. Usually you can turn it off in options and yet it doesnt allow it. Theres no place in their phone settings that allows it to be turned off either. That is a privacy issue
Won’t work
Can’t even sign up, I put my email I make a password and it doesn’t send me a code and when it does that code doesnt work and there’s a button for if you already have a code AND IT JUST TRYS TO SEND YOU A NEW ONE AND YOU CANT USE THE ONE YOU ALREADY GOT so you’re stuck getting sent codes. Like it’s saying my account’s not valid and it doesn’t have the things for it but also my account was made and that I can’t use that email. Don’t waste your time hopefully it gets fixed and not abandoned

Something Weird is Happening
Not sure what is happening with this app, no updates for a year. On the home screen I am no longer seeing posts. I haven’t posted in the platform due to these issues. I’m likely to close my account and just publish pictures on my website or on mstdn social.
