I had high hopes

I had Dark Sky a decade ago and it was fire! Always so accurate. I bought this despite the reviews and canceled the same day. “Clear for the hour” as it was pouring down rain. I even had the premium version. Bummer.

Used to be great

When I originally found this app and downloaded it, it was pinpoint accurate and absolutely amazing ever since Apple has gotten their hands on it. It can’t even tell me that it’s raining. When I’m standing in the rain, looking at the phone like right now.

Not working

I have the premium version that is supposed to allow rain sound updates but it doesn’t update or when it does it is a silent banner that I don’t see flash across my screen! How is this helpful??? Dark sky used to have a very unique alarm when severe weather was coming. This is silent even tho I have sounds turned on for it. Why can’t you keep the format and operating ability like Dark Sky was? Really disappointed in this.

How long does it take for the premium access to start. Just paid £8.99 for it . Still getting pop ups and advertisements. What about it dark sky.

Hi Thank you for feedback. Sorry for this situation. Premium access should normally activate within 1 minute, so something definitely went wrong. Please try removing and reinstalling the app first. This usually refreshes the premium status correctly. If the issue continues and you still see ads or pop-ups, please write back to us and we’ll make sure to fix and compensate for the inconvenience.

It’s just weather

I feel like I’ve tried all the weather apps, not looking for the perfect weather app, simply searching for simple, clean and informative. That’s what I found here. I love Hyperlocal Weather. Great work. Keep tweaking the app.

Broken

This is the second time it gives the unable to connect to weatherkit error since I switched to iPhone.

Notifications

Having the original Dark Sky app which was amazing I thought after 4 yrs having no weather app I now have this one. Had it a week now, all notifications are on, it’s mega windy today and have had NO notification. I was hoping that when it really rains like it has done recently I will get the sound like it says in the description!!

Great when it works!

Great app when it works love the simple data presentation. Why does the weather radar only work 50% of the time? So frustrating please fix

DON’T Judge This App based on the ratings-IT’S AWESOME!!

I have been trying to find an app with simplicity, extreme accuracy, fast loading and simple interface. THIS IS THAT APP!!

There is a lot of weather information if you want it, but you get what you need - with precision - at a quick glance.

I am baffled how this is not reviewed higher. I am a weather geek and know a great app when I see it. It is a shame that people are so critical and give poor ratings to such a wonderful app.

Great job Mr. developer! My only advice would be: Always keep the app simple and full of information like you have it. Do not fall into the fancy animated icon trap. If you ever want to go that direction, just make a totally new app and let this one continue to be great!

Looks nice but still got Ads after buying premium.

I like the look of the app and so bought the Premium version. Unfortunately I still see ads. It says I have a subscription but I get pop ups saying premium features are not available. I tried reinstalling etc to no avail.

Used to be great

This now stinks. Years ago it was great. It told you how many minutes till it rained and when it would stop. I deleted the app. I’m better off looking out my window.

Simply Doesn’t Work

This app worked ok for a bit but has not done so here in the UK for a solid 6 months despite being updated. The rain radar thing, which is the whole point of the app, shows no data.

Radar doesn’t work

My radar hasn’t worked for the last 6 months and I finally deleted the app and reinstalled it but that didn’t fix it either. Any idea what the issue might be?

Hey, Gulf of Mexico, not America! That is a selling point. It does appear to be a pretty efficient application. What I would
like to see is compatibility with Apple Watch & iPad. Any chance of that happening soon?

All ads all the time

Not sure what happened but now it’s constant ads and I can barely us the app 5 seconds before the next ad

Sorry about that 🙏 Ads in the free version are managed by Google and shouldn’t feel overwhelming. We’ll review the frequency to keep the app usable. You can also remove ads permanently with Premium. Thanks for letting us know!

Sorry for the confusion! 🙏 Notifications are still available — we recently updated the app and improved the radar with new layers and a more reliable source. If you don’t see alerts, please check your app settings and make sure notifications are enabled.

Great app and widget, needs a few options.

Love the app and widget so much I paid for the premium version - only $3.99 a year!

Wish there were 2 options - in the widget I wish the date would show, and want to change from military time to normal hours in the widget, radar, etc.
