I’d like a refund!
I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try for a week and see who was out there….Not only were all the men on the app the same as any other app (not alt, goth, metalhead…), but there were none that even fit my age range! I don’t want someone who is 10+ years younger than me… or 10+ years older than me!! What a joke. I want my $20 back!

Poor Start
Have to agree with other reviews. No way past account creation without paying for £20 a week up to £80 a year. The yearly subscription sounds fair compared other apps. But the problem I have is that without at least being able to see if there is anybody in my area first why would I part with £20 just to possibly find out there isn’t? The app seems American in nature, as the US flag is all over the pictures in the App Store, so how do I know any will be UK based or even if they are, any of them near me? This does need to be addressed and then you’ll probably have more people willing to pay the prices and join.

Hell to the no
With all the scammers on every dating platform. I think we should have the ability to check the site out before even paying a dime. You can’t even view to see if there’s anyone even in your location.
Lies
Claims to be a premium subscription based app. I paid the fee without a worry but only to find women that looked unnaturally attractive that were all posed to be from Central Germany and Poland. I ran multiple through Gemini and it is confirmed that they pose up female bot accounts with literally Google AI Tool generated images of non-existent women. This is an illegal practice ; it is clear as day they are just out to take your money, the upfront cost, the fake women, and the fact that only the recipient can respond they use it as a guise to cover up the fact there’s no one on the other side of the screen. I usually don’t leave posts like this but using a beautiful community to manipulate them for financial gains is a different level.

Our membership model is designed in part to make bots and disposable accounts harder to operate, but if you believe specific profiles are using misleading or AI-generated images, please send the usernames or screenshots to support@darkheart.app. We want to review the actual accounts involved rather than dismiss your concern.
