Crashes and a very buggy. Hard to use
It crashes over and over when switching between sentry or saved or even dates. Very hard to navigate through the file. When going back from landscape view it flips to portrait which is pretty annoying. The clips are also not synced to each other. If you pause or scrub it off not play again. It remains on 4x speed on the next totally different clips even while showing 1x. The dates seemed totally wrong as well as time. But I could be wrong, I couldn't use it longer than 10 minutes because it was such a waste of time. I know it will likely get better with time and updates, but I regret paying for it when there are others that appear much better. I only got this because of the Stats App developer is the same and Stats is a very great app and gets solid updates. I hope this app gets much easier to use.

Not compatible witb USB drive
This app doesn't work with Hootoo USB drive. This wasn't made clear on the app store.

If iOS 13 recognizes your storage device/adapter, then this app will recognize it as well. To test if your adapter is compatible with iOS 13, make sure that your storage device shows up in the Files app (by Apple). You can also tap on Support button in the app if you need help. We cannot reach out to you from here.
Looks like a great app, doesn’t work
Connected my Samsung T5 500GB SSD to my iPadPro with appropriate cable. Opened this app and it requested I open the TeslaCam folder, but gave me no way to do so. Fail. Requested refund.

Great App!
I am excited to see Sentry Recordings on my iPhone. I have the USB card reader with a High Endurance SD card (recommended for video recording and rewriting) which is connected to iPhone via Apple Camera Adaptor. I charge this adapter using the lightening cable.
I am able to view the Sentry Events and Recent Clips easily without issues.
BUT when I initially tried to view saved videos the app crashed every time. The developer is so dedicated that he actually listens to your feedback and fixes the issues. He fixed this issue after I made him aware of the issue.

Stolen app
This is a direct clone of sentry viewer and should be removed from the App Store.

Both SentryView and this app are fro the same developer. Please consider changing your review. SentryView is for iXpand and this is for all other storage devices.
App is awesome if you have the right adapter
This app is legit, it’s actually made by the same person who developed SentryView (and Stats app). It works well and in essentially the same way.
You do need the official Apple adapter - the Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter. It has a lightning port and a USB port. The lightning port has to be plugged in to power the drive.
The cheaper adapters on Amazon do not seem to work, for some reason I’ve only gotten this app to work with the adapter Apple sells. It’s a limitation of iOS, not a flaw in the app. The drive won’t even show up in the native Files with the knock-off adapters, but it shows up with the Apple adapter.

Super! Works w/Apple’s USB Lightning Adapter
I have been able to successfully use this app with an SSD and my iPhone 11 Pro.
In my Tesla Mode 3 I use an SSD drive with a Sabrent USB to SSD adapter. I then plug that into Apple’s USB adapter with a power cable connected. This software then sees the drive and lets you choose which event to view.
I also tested with a Samsung T5 SSD drive and standard USB stick and they also both worked fine with Apple’s USB adapter (no power needed).
The software makes it very easy to view a saved dashcam or sentry event. All four views are shown at once and in sync. Nice.
Certainly would recommend to anyone with a Model 3.
