Doesnโ€™t work on new Tesla

I just bought a new Tesla Y and the USB that they come with is not compatible with this app.

UI is terrible and no way to merge clips

There is no way to merge the individual saved clips into one export. Worthless.

FAQ

What does SentryView do?

SentryView allows you to view Sentry and DashCam videos from your Tesla directly on your iPhone or iPad. You can organize, delete, and export clips without needing a computer. It supports all four camera views and organizes footage by date and time.

How do I use SentryView with my Tesla footage?

Connect your Tesla's storage device (SSD, SD card, etc.) to your iPhone or iPad. Ensure the device is compatible by checking if its contents appear in the Files app. The app then allows you to browse and manage your Sentry and DashCam clips.

Is SentryView free to use?

The app is free to download and use for basic viewing and management of your Tesla's video footage. However, an exclusive AI-based algorithm that scans Sentry Clips for human movement detection requires a one-time in-app purchase.

What are the compatibility requirements for SentryView?

The app is compatible with iOS 13 and above. It works with any storage device that can be connected to an iPhone/iPad and recognized by the Files app. Specific iXpand USB drives are also supported without an adapter.

What are the key features of SentryView?

Key features include viewing Sentry and DashCam videos, organizing clips by date and time, deleting unwanted footage, exporting all four camera views into a single file, and displaying the location of Sentry events. An AI-powered human movement detection feature is available via in-app purchase.
