App is Awful
This app is one of the worst apps I have ever worked with. While working on a project, the app kept crashing, and the stop button wasn’t responsive.
Lag
I’ve tried multiple times to get onto the app and start a task, but it buffers for so long before opening and once I actually get onto a task to start, it kicks me off. I’m not sure what’s going on and I’ve tried everything I can to get it to work for me. Money is nice but the stress is really upsetting.

If the app functioned
If the app functioned, I'd give it a different rating. But it freezes and crashes as soon as I press record for an audio task. Very curious what the quality release process is for this app.

This app is unusable, when I do the task that requires audio my app turns into a potato after i hit the record button. Not even with the trouble
SCAMMERS
Please do not waste your time to work with them. They claim it can take up to 3 months to receive payment. Meanwhile they harass you with emails to try to get you to sign up for more jobs. Read the other reviews before you make a decision
Cheated
I was unfairly disqualified after finishing my job. I feel cheated because it took me so much time to record, re record and re record those 108 tasks
Never got Paid
I have emailed them with no response. It’s crazy that they emailed me to do resubmission, I made sure it was perfect and they refuse to even answer me. So sad especially to specifically request a black person and not pay them

Offered bonus to do recordings. Didn't receive bonus as promised. They claimed I didnt meet deadline. Well, I completed 250 by deadline, then mysteriously 2 were rejected. Nothing wrong with them, and I wouldnt have even known they were rejected unless i had went into app to check.
So now they could say it wasnt completed in time.
That's fishy to me.
Without the bonus, the pay rate is not worth the time and effort - if every recording requires 3 seconds of silence before and after, thats at least 10 seconds per task. Times that by eg 250 tasks, add in the upload time and a few retakes, thats a good chunk of time for not enough money.
So now they could say it wasnt completed in time.

App is fine , just re-install
When DF assigned me 30 tasks I experienced the slowdowns people have mentioned in the reviews.
Reboot didn’t help so I deleted the app and re-installed.
Works fine for me now .

They Never Pay Out
Scam, as another reviewer said. I’ve done a number of jobs for them and 1) they take forever to review the work and then 2) simply never pay.

Takes back job acceptance
It’s a shame because I have successfully completed audio tasks and been paid out in the past, about a year ago, no issues. But quality and communication with this company has gone down hill. Just recently, after a few rejected qualification jobs, I did qualify, saw this in the app, and received an email from Vivianne stating the above. Then I get emailed very late updates on the previous job rejections, they remove the full job from my job list, and delete my previous successfully completed qualifier. When asked, Vivianne refused to address why she told me I had qualified and to claim the full job. Guess it was a “mistake”. So I am done with dataforce, deleted my account. Don’t even recommend trying because you won’t get anyone honest or competent here.

You’re going to have problems with payment
Any voice data projects, you’ll going to go thru multiple times for “quality” issues. Then there’s going to be a delay in payment. I haven’t had a single project yet that wasn’t delayed or passed the timeframe they said it would be.

Website says audio jobs available but must be done in the app after downloading the app there are no audio jobs still haven’t been paid from submitting photos says I can do up to 30 but only 10 is allowed. Scam.
Horrible to Work With
The company is horrible. They make you rerecord hours of recordings for no boost in pay (which is already low) and when you voice your concerns they just say “we’ll get someone to replace you.” No sympathy.

Don’t do this if you plan on making money with it. I see their postings all over LinkedIn huge scam.

I’ve been working with dataforce and they are a complete scam. They require you to record audio with a phone only, then reject your audio because the quality is not good enough.
Do you expect our phones to magically transform into a studio microphone?
“Connect your headset,” they say, as their app IMMEDIATELY disconnects all bluetooth devices once you start recording.
“Make sure to grant permission!” they say, as if my headset would be able to connect in the first place if I didn’t.
“Complete this in two days!” they say as they ask you to make HUNDREDS of recordings, and if you email them for a question or an extension, they NEVER get back to you. But it’s fine if they take up to SIX weeks to “evaluate.”
They have absolutely no accountability and no shame. They WILL scam you of your precious time to overwork you for what is already scraps of meager pay.

Deceptive about payment
I am just another client who has submitted data but has not been paid and it has been months after the promised deadline. The app's interface completely leaves out an option to connect a payment as well. That's because they take advantage of your efforts and evade all responsibility. Dataforce is not credible at all.

Clunky - payment low and slow
I’ve used this app for a couple jobs. I’ve found the app to be clunky, instructions are clear but some jobs require different locations and the location match-up isn’t great. Pay rate is low for the effort and slow in arrival.
Horrible app
The app is the worst part of working with DataForce. ChatGPT can make a better app than this garbage. It’s extremely slow and unstable. If you have enrolled in multiple jobs, the app will frequently get confused about which one you are clicking on. You can be clicking on task2 but when it loads, it’ll automatically switch to task 1. It’s ridiculous.
