Gender filter is nonexistent

Despite my profile specifying women and my instructions to the AI asking only for women, the last 6 profiles it has shown have only been men. So far I’m not thrilled. Update: I’ve deleted my account and the app. Straight up GARBAGE

IT JUST GETS YOU

Dataing is unlike any dating app I’ve used. The AI match making actually feels personal - it remembers what I tell it and gets better over time. The Cupid chat feature alone is worth 5 stars. It’s like having your bestie/BFF that knows everyone on the app and listens to your preference and hook you up with you best match. 9.5/10

When an app actually gets you

Been messing around with Dataing and honestly… it just gets it. Like it actually understands what you’re trying to do instead of making you fight the app the whole time.
What surprised me most is how much I trust it already. It’s consistent, doesn’t feel sketchy, and handles your input in a way that just feels solid. That’s rare.
Lowkey using this as inspo while I keep building Cupid and really leaning into making it more EQ-focused and actually trustworthy, not just saying it is.

Cool New AI Experience

I was pleasantly surprised to find a dating app that I couldn’t predict what to do. The whole new interface and way of matching made it feel like I actually had a chance at finding a real connection. Cupid is such a cool feature as it feels like using AI is become more helpful in personal experiences just as much as professional. It seems to be able to read me pretty accurately without me even giving it too much information. It feels fun to have a connection based on my internal self rather than external. Super fun and highly recommend. I see potential in this!

Love this app!

This is a really cool take on dating apps. This app feels more personalized because an AI wingman is finding personal matches for you. You can connect different apps, like your music or pinterest and the app will connect you with people who have similar interests. It makes it easier to start conversations. I love this app!

Great opportunity to meet new people

Dataing has allowed me to connect with people on a more personal level because of how well the app has gotten to know me and my preferences. Getting guidance from the AI factor has been extremely helpful and makes the app very approachable, interactive, and easy to use.

Great take on dating

Dataing is taking a new approach to online dating and I think it’s a great exploration into the incorporation of AI to better our lives. Cupid, the AI bot, makes me feel more comfortable sharing my niche interests in a partner and pairing me on criteria beyond looks that are important for a relationship.

Great Idea

is a pretty cool idea that combines AI with making real and genuine feeling matches. I love the ease of connecting other platforms within the app. I also like Cupid itself. It felt like it did a great job at reading my preferences, even without me saying, and suggesting activities or ideas I would enjoy.

Best of the AI dating apps

The more I talk to Cupid, the better it understands me. Prompting it with questions is actually fun, and it asks thoughtful follow ups that make the advice feel really personal. The date ideas and suggestions feel super tailored and genuinely helpful. One of my favorite AI apps and I think this will get huge!

Fresh Take on Dating Apps

As someone who has tried many dating apps in the past, I often found myself exhausted from endlessly swiping and judging based on first impressions. Dataing feels refreshingly different. Instead of focusing on surface-level attraction, it encourages you to dive deeper into your personal interests and truly understand yourself and what you’re looking for in a relationship.

Cupid AI acts as a thoughtful matchmaker, carefully assessing personalities and compatibility to create more meaningful connections. Although the app is still growing, I can already see its incredible potential. It’s definitely worth trying if you’re serious about finding the right match!

Doesn’t work

Tried chatting with Cupid and it got stuck on the first prompt. I’d answer and hit send and it just would not move on to the next question it would erase my response and ask the same thing again. Tried closing and reopening the app and it signed me out. Best part is this was after asking for access to all of my data, wanted AI analysis of my camera roll, music, health etc… Dataing more like DataMining

We’re a new, self-funded team learning every day, and our goal is always to put users in the best possible position to succeed in dating (and do it for free!) Your feedback helped us identify an issue in our most recent release, and we've been working hard these past few days on version 1.175 which should reconcile the issues you highlighted. We take all bug reports very seriously and do our best to fix the ASAP. We’re currently working on our V2 with many bug fixes and stability improvements, including updates to Cupid. To clarify, the analysis feature is meant to generate optional tags from your digital footprint and conversations with Cupid so we can create more compatible matches and personalized date ideas based on both people. If you’re ever uncomfortable connecting sources, you can absolutely skip that and simply chat with Cupid on its own. If you delete your account all data goes with it, and we never share your data with third party apps or services. Our goal is to help you take back your data from the companies that often do this, and help you utilize it to improve your love life and relationships. Appreciate the time you took to try the product and write a review, we hope you'll give us another shot!

One of a kind among all other dating app👀

Been using dating apps on and off. This app is more than a dating app- I like how it also helps me to get clarity of what I want in a relationship and who I am as a person and a partner. The app is still at its growing phase so I totally understand there’s room for improvement. But so far loving chatting with Cupid and hoping to see more cool features being developed ahead!
