Not like slay
Anyone who says it’s similar to slay does not know what they are talking about. It’s a fun game but not having any variety or choice into what you fight for each zone ruins the risk/reward which is half the fun of slay. Just eventually killing each monster and being stuck with three bonfires after an act finished is not satisfying .

Boring and repetitive. I looked at ratings and thought it would be fun. I played 10 min before I couldn’t bare it anymore.

Keyword descriptions
Great game, but only 4 stars for the lack of descriptions on keywords. While most of them have them, some do not. This means you have to back out the match to look it up. Other than that, well worth the money.

Hello, developer. How is the progress of Chinese localization development? There are still some parts that have not been translated during the game.
Absolutely loved this game
I don’t often write reviews, but I figured I needed to do one for this game because I thought it was awesome. Very much. Reminds me of like slay the spire or you know like a single player Hearthstone type of thing I did get a little boring after a while if you’ve gone through and beaten, a lot of things of different builds, but all in all pretty amazing game.

Solid game
Played many hours. Smooth gameplay. Its like a better slay the spire. And the game is fair with a lot of replayabilities.
Best mobile game?
They’re not wrong! Very solid balancing, fun, excellent art and easy to get into!

A lot of character choices and build options, but only one campaign path comes with your purchase- there are 14 packages for sale at an average of $4.99.
Utterly Fantastic
This game is so dynamic, fun, interesting, and accessible. The community that’s formed around it is exceptional, and the devs are in constant communication with their players. Give the game a try, I promise you won’t regret it.
One of the best
Great gameplay with a lot of variety and replayability. Previously I felt the game had some balance issues but over time that has smoothed out. And I would only notice those issues because I actually enjoy playing the game. Highly recommended
Not just any mobile game
This is by far my favorite rougelike deck builder. I have played this longer than slay the spire, monster train… all of em. I love dawncasters.
An amazing game
I love how accessible this game is with the built-in screenreader. This game is just really fun to play and could keep you entertained for hours. I havn’t been playing Dawncaster that long, so I’m looking forward to finding out future story elements and fighting more enemies. Just when you think you’ve learned most of the cards that feature in the game, you realise that there are far more than you thought, which is fantastic! I am forever finding out new blessings, inchantments and afflictions in Dawncaster. Thank you for creating an accessible game.

The game itself cost and then you have to buy all the extra dlc which is more than $40 in my area which they don’t release free content

Würde 5 Sterne geben, aber seit letztem Update ist mein Speicherstand zurückgesetzt, was echt schade ist, weil ich fast alles freigeschaltet hatte… Ich hä sehr viel Zeit reingesteckt und die war jetzt leider nichts wert

I've had this game since its beginning, when it was a very simple game and the artwork was simple, yet nice. I've watched it grow over the years into the most fleshed out and beautiful game I've ever played. Can not recommend this game enough.

Ich spiele Dawncaster jetzt schon eine ganze Weile und es macht mir immer noch enorm viel Spaß. Was mich sofort überzeugt hat, ist das sehr gelungene Design: alles wirkt stimmig, übersichtlich und hochwertig. Man merkt einfach, dass hier viel Liebe zum Detail drinsteckt.
Die Progression im Spiel ist extrem umfangreich und motivierend. Selbst Runs, die nicht gut enden, fühlen sich nie verschwendet an, weil man ständig Neues freischaltet und dazulernt. Genau das sorgt dafür, dass ich immer wieder zurückkomme.
Besonders stark finde ich die vielfältigen Build-Möglichkeiten. Es gibt unzählige Kombinationen und Spielstile, die sich wirklich unterschiedlich anfühlen. Experimentieren wird belohnt und kein Run gleicht dem anderen.
Auch die Story hat mich positiv überrascht. Entscheidungen haben Konsequenzen, Begegnungen verändern sich je nach Wahl und das Ganze fühlt sich deutlich interaktiver an als bei vielen anderen Deckbuildern.
Es gibt regelmäßig updates und auch schon mehrere DLCs. Ganz wichtig absolut keine unnötigen Microtransaktionen vorhanden!
Ganz ehrlich: Meiner Meinung nach ist Dawncaster deutlich besser als Slay the Spire. Es ist moderner, abwechslungsreicher und langfristig motivierender. Für mich einer der besten Deckbuilder im App Store und absolut empfehlenswert
