Awesome game with lack of some minor adjustments
This game is truly amazing, and it has kept me entertained for hours. The variety of cards and the way RPG elements are combined with the roguelike genre is a fantastic idea. I’m genuinely looking forward to more content.It would also be great if you could add more free content in the future. However, I feel that a few elements are still missing. In my opinion, the biggest one is a minimap or some kind of map. Without one, it can be quite confusing, and it’s difficult to get a sense of which part of each region you’re currently in. Maybe other players feel the same way. I would really appreciate it if the development team could consider addressing this issue. Thank you!

Constantly freezing during Sunforge
I don’t want to have to join Discord to submit a bug. The game is freezing during Sunforge runs after new update/ content.
Top 5 mobile game
I used to play Hearthstone and MTG, but got tired of throwing money at it, having to mostly play online, etc. I wanted a solid deck builder and stumbled on Dawncaster a few months ago. I probably have sunk 200 hours in by this point while waiting here and there. No need for connectivity. The gameplay loop itself is pretty good and you can have a lot of fun figuring out which classes work best for what, and subtypes of those classes. Crazy card combinations about. All in all, one of my top 5 mobile games of all time!

Seemed fun at first, then you see ceetain mechanics are just poorly thought out and make the game take too damn long. Both thumbs way way down, amateur.
Just amazing
I have probably 300 hours in this game. It’s absolutely amazing. It gives way more variety of play and experimentation than other similar games. And I personally feel that the art on this game is the best out there. Developers are active and listen to feedback. I can’t wait to see what else they do. Either way, I love Dawncaster!

Great game. Very repayable
This is a buy once, own forever game. It takes a little time to learn the intricacies of the various card builds but the beginner mode helps with that immensely to make it enjoyable. Then the modes increase in difficulty to challenge the adept player. As you complete a full run you can upgrade your characters to be able to play more advanced modes. A full run is 1-2 hours but you can replay again and again as the cards offered with each win are not the same and different characters give different gameplay. This is a hidden gem of a game that deserves the full 5 stars for balance and replay pleasure.

A fantastic and refreshing take on the roguelite genre
After months of playing this game I keep coming back to it. It offers a huge variety of play styles, tons of unique hidden interactions within the dialogue, and a wonderful community that helps even the most novice of players. On the financial side I also think the developers are truly looking out for the common man as they give access to every card expansion with the base game. That means the only reason you would buy the DLC is because, like me, you adore this game and want even more enemies and stories. I can’t recommend this game enough. Very well made and very well maintained with a live bug chat in the discord.

Not like slay
Anyone who says it’s similar to slay does not know what they are talking about. It’s a fun game but not having any variety or choice into what you fight for each zone ruins the risk/reward which is half the fun of slay. Just eventually killing each monster and being stuck with three bonfires after an act finished is not satisfying .

Boring and repetitive. I looked at ratings and thought it would be fun. I played 10 min before I couldn’t bare it anymore.

인앱 결제가 너무 비쌈. 5개 dlc의 합이 40,700원이다. 배 보다 배꼽이 더 큼. 번들 묶음으로 할인이 필요. 적당히 비싸야지 정도가 심했음. dlc 하나당 3,300원이면 적당했을 듯.
Keyword descriptions
Great game, but only 4 stars for the lack of descriptions on keywords. While most of them have them, some do not. This means you have to back out the match to look it up. Other than that, well worth the money.

Absolutely loved this game
I don’t often write reviews, but I figured I needed to do one for this game because I thought it was awesome. Very much. Reminds me of like slay the spire or you know like a single player Hearthstone type of thing I did get a little boring after a while if you’ve gone through and beaten, a lot of things of different builds, but all in all pretty amazing game.

One of the best
Great gameplay with a lot of variety and replayability. Previously I felt the game had some balance issues but over time that has smoothed out. And I would only notice those issues because I actually enjoy playing the game. Highly recommended
