What's New in Daylish

1.9

October 20, 2026

Daylish is now fully optimized for iPhone Duo, with a clever trick: Placing the device in tent or laptop mode activates Cue, a new full-screen view that prominently displays the current (or next) item without distractions. • Daylish adapts to the Duo's different shapes: in landscape there's an extra sidebar with the day picker and calendar filters, in portrait the extra vertical space shows more of your timeline, and when partially opened everything stays clear of the crease. • Cue was inspired by and designed for iPhone Duo but works on all iPhones, simply by rotating to landscape. Works great on a MagSafe stand on your desk :) • When an alarm goes off in tent mode, the display lights up in the color of the item's calendar. Your whole desk glows with the tint of your work calendar before a meeting, or your family calendar when it's time to make dinner. • Creating items is faster: tapping Plus starts a new event right away (a popular request), and a long press brings up a picker for other timeline items like timers or journeys. • Since I needed to tweak many areas of the UI, I used this opportunity to make a number of refinements throughout the app, both for iPhone Duo and other iPhones. Thank you for using Daylish! The app is still pretty new, so I would love your feedback to shape the future of the app. Just email me at support@manuelkehl.com with any ideas, suggestions, bug reports, issues or questions. And if you're enjoying Daylish, please tell your friends about it and consider leaving a positive rating or review on the App Store. It's an easy way to make a big difference and I'd really appreciate it :) Best wishes, Manuel

Like he read my mind!

One of the most unique calendar apps I have found for time management. I’ve looked for something that has a built-in alarm for years. It’s like he read my ADHD mind! And I’ve talked to him. He’s very accessible and friendly.

I’ve used pretty much every major productivity app in the iOS store

This one is right up there with Todoist, IMO. Obviously it’s brand new but I’m impressed by the clean design, intuitive UI and smooth performance.

Joy to Use

Super helpful, really cool how it breaks down calendar events by prep and travel times. And it’s nice as I can also select which events I want to be notified for and which ones I don’t.
