FAQ
What is the main purpose of Days Away?
Days Away is designed to help you prepare for your upcoming trips. It offers a countdown to your departure, manages all your travel details like flights and hotels, and provides automated checklists for packing and pre-travel tasks.
How does Days Away handle flight information?
You can type in a flight number, and the app will find the timetable. On the day of travel, it checks the status, gate, and terminal, displaying this information on your lock screen and in the Dynamic Island as a Live Activity. The Plus version allows pasting confirmations to automatically fill in flight details.
Can I share my trip details with others using Days Away?
Yes, you can share a trip as a file with family members. The Plus version also supports Family Sharing, allowing multiple users to access and manage trip information.
What are the differences between the free and Plus versions of Days Away?
The free version allows one trip with manually entered details, basic countdowns, and widgets. The Plus version, a one-time purchase of €12.99, offers unlimited trips, AI-generated pictures, live flight status, lock screen Live Activities, and the ability to import flight and hotel details from confirmations.
Is Days Away private and secure?
Days Away is designed with privacy in mind. Your trips stay on your phone with no account or tracking required. Backups are sent to your iCloud if enabled. Only necessary data for lookups, like flight numbers, is sent to the service, which caches results temporarily.
How often is Days Away updated?
The app was last updated on September 25, 2026, with version 1.0.2. This indicates recent development activity, suggesting ongoing support and potential future updates.
What devices does Days Away support?
