Can’t Skip Sign Up
You immediately ask me to sign up, which yelp does but they have a skip option to simply use the app.
It's understandable if I miss out on some features because I chose not to sign up but I can’t understand why apps insist on getting my contact details before I even know if I like what they are offering.
In a privacy aware world this kind of friction matters and you should put in the effort to avoid it and drive conversion based on feature excellence.
