My first time using the app. The user interface and automated voice attendant worked very well. I appreciated. I got a text and a call to let me know that the driver was on the way and when he arrived. The driver was excellent!
Rate hike
Disappointing that quote price at booking ( no traffic) wasn’t price charged, it ended up higher making my decision to chose taxi over uber a mistake. Its deceptive pricing.

App will not allow me to update my number as i have a new one. very inconvenient for myself and the drivers. please allow people to change that in the app
Double charge
Cab driver was friendly.
YC app charged my Apple Pay but did not show up in the cab. I had to pay a second time in the cab on the curb app.

The app ain’t even let me book the cab and then end up charging me 20 later on after I’ve already deleted the app.
Early flight?
If you’re wondering about how to get to the airport at 0 dark thirty? Look no further. I was able to book on the app two days out. I called in as well just because I get nervous. That morning - I got a confirmation text and was able to track my cab as it arrived. My cabbie got there early, the cab was spacious and clean, the trip completely stress free. One more thought? I checked Uber as well. They wanted more than double the price for that morning (tack on another $10 if I wanted to reserve a day before). Thank you Yellow Cab.

Super easy!
App was super easy to use to book a taxi days in advance and also to use for immediate pickup. Taxi’s arrived when they should and everyone was super friendly.
Tip added without my ok
I gave the driver a cash tip but for some reason the app automatically added 15% tip to my charge. This is not right and I want to be reimbursed for that amount.
Tips
I’m unable to tip the driver on app. I want total fare before I select how much tip. All I got star rating page
App improvement
I would like to see the destination address on the payment screen while we’re in the vehicle.
Don’t believe the estimate!
The app worked very well, except for the estimate. My ride from Union Station to Mt. Pleasant was estimated @ $10-12 for up to 4 passengers, the final charge with tip was $23 for 2 passengers, including automatic tip. This is nothing like Uber in that regard. Unless Yellow Cab fixes the price, I’ll stick with Uber.

Horrific service due to zero communication skills
The app experience that I was so happy to use, quickly became my worst nightmare on NYE as this company canceled my ride home, without any call, left me stranded in DC. Do not ever use this service.
Functional but very inaccurate
The Yellow Cab worked well for requesting a taxi and making payment )including a tip. However, it was way off the mark in terms of the time estimate for the taxi’s arrival (over 10 minutes vs the stated 3 minutes) and also over 50% off on the estimated fare.
