DF is back!
Like a Time Machine to the early, more innocent days of social media, Dead Format is one of the best & most supportive online music communities, with daily challenges of records to post. App itself is easy to use & improving quite quickly after it relaunched earlier this year. Founder is active on the platform & very available & helpful with any issues. Paradise for physical media music nerds & anyone tired of constant ads & algorithms of the Big 3 companies.
Added bonus: Their record scanner is the simplest I’ve encountered. Much faster & cleaner than Discogs (who pick up any changes you make to your collection here too).

Fun app to not only showcase what you are spinning on vinyl but has cool monthly challenges to post.
Great app!
This has become such a fun community for vinyl lovers! I love participating in the challenges, which helps me dig deeper into my own collection, but also discover new things as I browse other posts! Nick (founder/creator) is doing amazing things with this app!
Incredible!
This is an amazing community of people who all have 1 thing in common and we’re all very passionate about…vinyl! Dead Format brought life back to an internet full of hate and despair! Great timing to have such a wonderful place to go and escape the BS from all the other social media platforms! Thank you!

The best app on my phone
Not hyperbole. It's a pure joy. Amazing features, amazing community. Import your Discogs collection. Fun lil randomizer to pick out a record to play. Connect with last.fm as well. Discovering so much new music and ppl showing off the most gorgeous vinyl variants out there. This app helped me finally delete Instagram haha
