Cute fun and easy!
What a cool idea, especially as we get older and the years pass it’s sweet to look back on sentimental words that were written to you. App was an easy sign up and has easy basic features to change the album name and image. I love it!

I am a person who wants to hold onto all of their cards but has no where to put them. I finally thought to search for an app where I could store all of them & came across dear. It is SO EASY to use & organize. I am so mad I didn’t find this sooner. They have got a user for life.
Love this app for kids art!
I love having a way to scan kids artwork and not feeling bad about tossing it after! A great way to organize artwork on my phone, and then I can look back through it later!

We have just released an updated (version 2.1.1) with the option to change the sorted order of scans in a collection & changed the default order of scans so that newest & most recently updated cards are at the top of the list. Can we have the option of descending order?
I love the ability to save a digital version of correspondence. I enjoy writing to pen pals and this app helps me to stay organized. The only thing I’d love to be able to do is have the newest items at the top instead of having to scroll endlessly.

I have a file for my insurance cards , DL, etc and it’s so nice to have access to these docs in the app! Also great for kid artwork 😊

Amazing - you need it for Christmas
I always forget who sent us Christmas cards last year and inevitably end up annoying someone by forgetting them. With this - I don’t have to worry about that anymore. I also use it for my vaccine card so I don’t lose it. Lots of uses for me! 10/10 would download again
Cards and more cards
I didn’t want to toss all my Christmas cards and birthday cards. With this app I can keep them, look at them anytime and free up some space. I had a huge box of Christmas cards from 30 + years. I took my favorite ones and organized by year in the dear. app and freed up some space. The best place to keep all your cards, kids art work and more.

Wow, exceeds expectations!
What a quick and easy way to save and organize special greeting cards and souvenirs.
The scanner worked really well. I put the item on a solid color surface and it found the edges and took the scan itself. I was able to add all the pages of the card and the envelope, which in this case was special, as separate images to the same card.
The saved card is stored under whatever you want. I chose to organize by person, but you could organize by event, or both ways, or any other way. When I open the person's folder (not exactly that, but like that), I see the front picture of each card I saved for that person. When I click on the card, I can swipe through the card cover, each inner page, and the back. In my example above, I also scanned the envelope so that picture is included in the swiping. You can also write a note that appears at the end.
I can see using this for event memorabilia, too. You could scan the ticket from a sporting event and even add a picture. I think you might have to scan the picture to make that work, but it's an option.
Finally. I am really pleased with the brilliance of the color on the scans. My daughter used markers on my example card, and they are going to fade eventually. They look suoer bright in the scans.

Saving BEST Memories and Saving Space
I am one of those people who has a difficult time getting rid of stuff. With letters, photos and cards, I can fill up boxes or drawers in my house quickly. Recently, I was in the attic and found photos and cards in a box from 40 years ago. The box was dusty, cards and letters were “yellowed” (from age and heat in the attic). The photos had sadly faded and the quality was so bad. That is when I heard about TheDEARapp.
I began using it and adding a few items to begin with and discovered I could store greeting cards, birthday cards, photos, Christmas cards, love letters/valentines in their own separate file and date them upon storing them in the app. This app is so Amazing and the quality of the photos taken in the App was so important to me because I want to remember and cherish the gift of words and sentiments expressed by those I love and those who care. The quality provided by the app had to be great…not just good.

What an amazing way to save your cards are memories. I don’t know about you however the last few years have been tough on my memory. This app is amazing as I can store all my cards and not forget a single moment.
It’s also been a blast revisiting old friends and memories when I upload them.
I actually reconnected with a dear (no pun intended) old friend. I uploaded an old card and kept thinking about her and so I called. Turns out she was thinking of me too!

Dear makes storing cards a breeze! It is very easy to use. I only wish this existed years ago so I could go back and look at old cards loved ones sent. Thanks dear!
Great idea - and so easy to you
Love this idea, we have tons of old cards lying around in a box collecting dust and we finally have a way to store them without them taking up space. On top of that, the simple app design looks very clean and makes it very easy to use (and very flexible - also planning on trying it out for recipes, business cards, etc.) Would recommend this app to anyone.
