What's New in Decarbonr
1.2.0
October 20, 2026
What's new in Decarbonr 1.2 • Redesigned app: a new look with clearer screens, cards and charts. • Insights on the Dashboard: your last 7 days against the 7 days before, your biggest source and your logging streak, plus quick buttons to add food, add a trip, open Home or History. • A new Home tab gathers the 11 home and lifestyle trackers, each with its last 7 days. • iPad: the app now runs on iPad, with two columns and a sidebar. • iPhone Duo: two columns on the inner display, the phone layout on the cover display, and your place is kept when you open or close it. • Apple Watch: see today's total, your week and your yearly estimate, and log a trip from your wrist. • Scanning has moved into the Food tab: meal-photo and barcode scanning are the first cards there. • An honest yearly estimate replaces the "temperature in 2050" card, whose projection had no reliable source. Once you have entries on 7 different days, you see your yearly estimate next to the 2-tonne target and, where available, your country's average. • Correct totals: each emission is now counted once (travel, consumables and heating were counted twice on the Dashboard), and electricity, water, waste and the other trackers now save every entry. • Travel: city names are now looked up with Apple Maps and no longer sent to OpenAI or OpenRouteService. • Privacy: the app asks for your permission before it sends a meal photo for AI analysis. You can change this in Settings. • Subscriptions: the AI add-on now includes Base Access, and Settings has Restore Purchases and Manage subscription. • Accessibility: text follows your device's text size, and VoiceOver support is improved. • Bug fixes and stability improvements.
