Screen size
The first thing one notices is the fixed size the app opens as, irrespective of screen real estate available. This is just lazy coding and a deal breaker for me. Would prefer to read on browser.
Issue with app
Opening articles is a problem. It keeps buffering, and doesn’t open sometimes. There is no way to navigate back when this happens. Please look into it.
Ad nuisance cannot be be done away with a subscription
Annoying Ads lead to a bad reading experience. User has no option for subscribing to avail premium features like other news applications
Pictures of New Articles Not Available
The app used to be resourceful with their neutral based content. I don’t have complaints about the content but the app seems to have no images of articles. Just text links, which seems weird. Hoping they fix it soon.
New update made the app bad
The app used to be very snappy and would load very easily. Now, the loaders doesn’t disappear. Even though I can see the news has loaded, there is the loader overlay which keeps going on for almost a minute. Its frustrating.
