Response from developer

Great app great UX no nonsense

Not sure I understand!

Thanks for developing this app - I want to use it to try and understand the difference between appliances before I spend. But just having the app open logs in at 42dcb am I supposed to be able to set it somehow? Or is this the ambient noise level?! Feel I need a few basic instructions built in. Thanks.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback! 😊 The reading you see (e.g. 42 dB) is the current ambient sound level measured by your device’s microphone. It will change depending on the environment. We also appreciate your suggestion about built-in basic instructions—this is a great idea and we’ll consider adding clearer guidance to help first-time users

Response from developer
