Live mode is really hard to setup.
No live option, the only reason I purchased. I tried everything, ireinstalled app..
No live option, the only reason I purchased. I tried everything, reinstalled app, updated firmware, powered off phone. Yes it’s not in demo mode. Still no skelly live option in my Bluetooth settings?! Grrrrr expensive toy and it doesn’t even work as stated?
Horrible app
For the price you pay, you would expect to have an app that is easier to work and cannot very difficult to consistently have to go back and reset things it not connecting properly keeps getting reset to demo mode and did everything that they suggested to do online and still doesn’t work
App Need upload sound abilities
I was excited to make my own recordings, but seeing that I had to just depend on a lower quality recording from just my phone in the app. This app needs a feature to where you can upload soundbites that you’ve created or made prior to opening the app.

Where does it say it’s a subscription of 27.98?
Brutal
If this app was made better it could have great potential but it hardy does anything. You have to keep playing your 1 min clips. It doesn’t play on its own. You can talk through the skeleton but only using your voice there is no voice changer. You can’t play music through it which would be nice. Because of the app this cool skeleton is pretty much useless.

Skully voices
The voices that Skully has preloaded sounds like a Pirate and sounds great! But when you try to upload and scan your own script the voice choices available like echo, alien, digital, etc. They all sound horrible to the point you can’t hardly understand what you recorded and you end up using “none”, which is your own voice! My suggestion is to go to CapCut, record a “text to voice” and record that using a pirate voice! Someone needs to update this software for a $300.00 animatronic

Live does not connect! 😡😡😡
Just spent way too much time trying to get the Live to connect. Hasn’t connected yet! Sell this skeleton for less money and leave that feature off. Expensive prop that has an app that is not user friendly. Bought this because it had the Live feature, but looks like I won’t be able to use Live!
Horrible App Ruins Great Product
The app is nearly unusable. Ultra Skelly lists right on its box that it supports 30 audio files, but the app states you can only use 10.
Connecting to Ultra Skelly requires you to go outside, take it off of motion sensor mode, spent 10 minutes, attempting to connect to Bluetooth.
Uploading audio through the microphone is useless- please let us upload audio files to the app.
For such an expensive product, the app experience completely ruined it

This is the worst app ever!
Why is there two Bluetooth connections for the skelly?
I got the regular Bluetooth to connect to the skeleton just fine, but I cannot get the Skeleton (Live) to consistently appear, and I haven’t been able to connect to it. I honestly don’t know why there are two connections, that seems lazy on the developers part. Make it more user friendly please! These are expensive props! The whole reason I purchased this was to do the live mode.

This is the biggest piece of junk my wife & I are calling the quits on this because it won’t connect to wifi. Awful buy or beware
Bluetooth doesn’t work at all
I just got the animated skelly last night and hooked it up this morning only to find it does not connect to the app. I found that you can get the app to see the skelly for like one second when the skelly is first turned on but you cannot keep that connection active. I read some people were dual connecting the Bluetooth but the skelly does not show at all in my available Bluetooth signals. This is just cheap glitchy hardware.

Difficult and constantly disconnects
Very difficult and temperamental, disconnects constantly and you have to really close to sync recordings, no matter what live audio refuses to double connect Bluetooth. iOS has issues with dual Bluetooth connections luckily I have an android and that works flawlessly
Mostly does what it needs to
The app has the standard features it needs to, but it would be nice to have longer audio options, text to speech, and more voice options to choose from. Also, if you dismiss a firmware update alert, there seems to be no way to get back to it, even though it says it will remind you again later. I’ve been trying to get the update to reappear for a week now.

Automated Scully
Finally figured out how to get it to Bluetooth. It’s not very user-friendly, but I did figure it out and it works great.

***Update. Finally got it to connect after further research. All is well now. But it’s a little confusing that you have to double connect to the skeleton in order to use live mode. by this I mean you have to connect to the skeleton in the app. Then go to your Bluetooth settings and connect that way as well to control it manually on live mode. I have never used a Bluetooth device before where it requires a double connection in order to use it. Might be something the developers can look into update or fixing. Maybe I misread the included instructions but this process isn’t really clear when initially setting up***
Just got the 6.5ft skeleton and the app will not allow for live audio access. It keeps telling me to connect to Bluetooth but I am already connected. I have reset the device and it still doesn’t allow live audio access. This needs to be corrected.

Disconnects when changing mode on smelly
For those having issues connecting to “Live” mode…you need to connect through Bluetooth to a different mode. You must return to Bluetooth on your phone and connect to “skeleton LIVE “ in order to use the live mode, yes, even if you’re already connected to it!
On a separate note, it disconnects (and won’t reconnect without going into demo mode) if you switch to “timer/sensor” mode on the skeleton. You cannot reach this setting without turning the skeleton off momentarily. Once you do that, your phone cannot reconnect to the skeleton without going into demo mode…meaning you cannot use that setting at all and keep the phone connected. This is a major flaw in the app that must be fixed!
