I have an Account - Fix It

The app truly is appalling that I have an account. A paid membership that gets me the quarterly magazine. But when I try to look at a recipe it says it’s reserved members. I can only get to recipes on my computer but not on this app. Please fix it.

Must pay for recipes

If you are prompted to download the app when using the web browser version, don't bother. You can only look at two of the "non-subscriber" recipes, which are limited, without subscribing and even those are impractical because the subscription window pops up every time you try to scroll up or down and has to be closed again before you can proceed. If you specifically use delish recipes frequently and want to put your phone in "cook mode" it may be worth it, but for the occasional user there is no reason not to just use their browser page.

LOVE

I love delish’s recipes! I’m so happy I have them all in one easily accessible place now. I particularly love the ability to save and organize all my favorite recipes.

Bait and switch/pay to use

I was excited to use the app and find new recipes but after downloading and going through all the set up I find out without a subscription you cannot use the app. Seemed like it might have been an ok app but without so much competition, o expected more.

Needs and iPad version

What be nice if there was and iPad version of this app.

Meh

App asks for dietary restrictions and then completely ignores them when suggesting recipes. Was only able to view a couple recipes before you have to pay for membership.

This is absolutely predatory

Suddenly all of your favorite recipes are behind an app and a paywall. Wow

You are evil scum, terrible company

Can’t use their website anymore without half the screen begging you to use their awful buggy app. You can’t close out of their personal advertisement. They make you create an account to use their awful app. Then they will sell your data for profits :) truly evil people working here

Frozen

Froze on the first prompt. So can’t really use it

pointless

users complained that the app was buggy and required constant logins while the website was free. it appears that instead of improving the mobile experience they made the website worse and covered the page with demands to install the app.

Everything is pay only

They let you download the app but any recipe that you click on is for 'members only' so nothing on it is truly free. I wish they would just say that upfront so I dont waste my time.

Can’t see recipe until you subscribe….

So people can’t see the recipe online, you make them download the app, and can’t see it on the app because they have to pay for a subscription? COME ON! You’re forcing people to get a subscription.

Literally does not work

If you click a recipe or try and search it just glitches out, but if you use the web app it pops up with a huge banner that blocks the page

App performance issues

I’m a new subscriber so haven’t used it long. I have some vision impairment. When I open the app, the screen fills with multiple moving videos for random recipes in the scroll list. This gives me an instant headache. This app behavior continues whether I scroll through the home list or use the search. It is unpleasant to continue regular use because of this programming. There is no setting to turn off video autoplay. Also, the app is not ipad-friendly and oriented only to phone use. Thus, i can’t make it display larger to meet my vision needs. This isn’t facebook or instagram - i will not endure these irritations while paying for a subscription.

Great content

Now that the app has been updated it’s very helpful with day to day meal planning!

Good Recipes with Frustrating UX

It’s really frustrating to struggle with the login every time I want to look up a recipe. This app logs you out more than your bank will. It has never saved my password once. When I search for the password in my password manager it’s under the name mylo, which I will never remember. Please make logging in easier. I don’t care if someone hacks my recipe account. It doesn’t need to be so secure. lol.

Recipes- good. App- awful

This app sucks but unfortunately it’s the only way to access recipes now bc when I sign in, it auto opens the app. They send me push notifications that rarely work.
Please, powers that be, stop forcing this app that doesn’t work on us.

From Beginner to Confident Cook

I’ve been loving the new Delish app. It’s so much easier and simpler to use than before, and the Cooking Mode is absolutely fantastic—it makes following recipes effortless. The step-by-step videos are incredibly helpful and make you feel like someone is guiding you through the entire process. The variety of recipes is amazing too; I’ve discovered and cooked dishes I didn’t even know existed. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves cooking or wants to get more confident in the kitchen!
