Easy app, poor service
First used this company late 2025 and had a really rude driver who drove borderline recklessly. I swore I wouldn’t use them again but recently thought I’d give them another chance.
A different man, but equally as rude (even if the driving wasn’t as scary as the other). As a nervous person, I find it hard enough to go out, let alone having to face passive aggressive looks and comments from drivers. They’ve knocked my confidence and I won’t recommend this company. Use others if possible.

Worst taxi company there is
Never can pick you up EVER always cancelling bookings
Late
Always takes 10-20 mins to find a driver and constantly makes me late to places
Great app!
Ride offers a great service. Taxi usually arrive within 5 mins and service is always good.
Don’t use them if you don’t want to get robbed
Twice now I have left things in a ride taxi, yeah it’s on me for leaving it in there however the first time I left something they told me a driver would drop it off, the driver never came so I went to the office and they said nothing had been reported as lost. The second time I reported something as lost I heard absolutely nothing back so never got it back.

APP NOT WORKING
I have been using Ride since it first started, I went abroad for two months and now that I’ve come back I wanted to use my favourite taxi service RIDE but the app isn’t working, I’ve been trying since 1am 27/03/2025 and it’s now 2pm 28/03/2025. I’ve tried calling but the AI says download the app and the app says there is an error. I don’t when the app is going to start working again for me but I will have to use different taxi services in the meantime. Thanks AJ ALI

Rate your driver pop up
Will the developers PLEASE get rid of the Rate your driver pop up when you open the app! You can’t get rid of it therefore can’t get to the booking screen.

Remember the days when you’d call for a taxi and the operator would give you an estimated pick up time, even if it was a 45-minute wait or more at busy times? Well, worry not: Here comes the new future, where you request a taxi and instead of that you get a minute-long wait before it says “ride cancelled”.
I’m all for supporting traditional taxi companies, even the big ones, but I’m riding home in an Uber thanks to repeated “cancelled rides”.

Canelled without reason
I will never use your service again. Cancelled without notice or reason, and you waited until last minute to do that, no, never again, uninstalled.

**App Issue Needs Fixing**
I generally like this taxi firm and have been a loyal customer for a while. The drivers are friendly, and the service is usually reliable. However, I am very fed up with a recurring issue in the app. Despite having an in-date, funded bank card attached to the app, every journey I book recently defaults to cash payment. I don’t usually carry cash, and due to my limited mobility, I can’t easily get to a cash point. This is really annoying and inconvenient. I hope the developers can fix this bug soon as it’s impacting the otherwise positive experience I have with this taxi firm.

Why do we now have to give a rating to each trip?
Stop it. I go onto the app to book a taxi and i’m asked to provide a rating for a trip I took a week ago and have 0 recollection of.
You can’t book another trip before giving a rating. There isn’t even an option just to exit or give no rating.

Very adequate name yes they take you for a ride,they app says come out taxi here (clearly 8 minutes later wasn’t come out now,)ended up giving him a twenty pound note whilst I. Had ordered taxi kibble bank to muscle factory and back he told me I had made him wait 5 minutes and refused to give me any change but worst thing also I had just bought my first e cigarette and for last 5 /10 days my chest has been a lot better,no customer service they just slammed phone down it’s all on recording and I have left them numerous messages.and I have been a truly loyal customer.Ride is taking customers for a ride .I suppose if I was an idiot I would monopolise the well needed service some people rely on and not bother getting in contact with the people who line their pockets ,GREEDINESS gets you everything NOT

Forgetting your belonging at your start of the destination
I forgot my coat and phone at Tesco and they charged me £5.50 upfront because I left my coat and phone at Tesco awful company they just want more money of you if you leave your important stuff behind and forget to keep it

As a driver I can say, App is getting worst with every update and making it life harder for drivers then make it easier.

Completely and utterly unreliable. Booked an XL vehicle for 6people and luggage. They sent a 5 seater. Had to scramble to get another taxi at the last moment.

The worst taxi service in the world. Drivers couldn’t be on time if their life depended on it. Operators sound like they’ve been tortured.
Waste of code!
What’s the point of having a tab on this ‘App’ that’s specifically for contacting support if it doesn’t work and apparently hasn’t for ages! You click it and it takes you to nothing. So I ran the ‘book a taxi’ number and it took THREE tries just to speak to someone! First call: automation says press 1 for bookings and 2 to discuss current bookings. Pressed 2 and now it’s trying to book a new appointment? Hung up and tried again. Second call: no difference so I pressed 2 again and waited, it hung up. Third try: now it’s 1 for booking, 2 for pre-booking or 3 for discuss. Finally spoke to someone after all this malarkey!
