App is broken
It crashes after you choose your AVR. It was always buggy and unreliable and now it is simply a fail.

This app is so unworkable bad I’m selling my new amp and won’t buy Denon ever again. It’s incomprehensible at best. HEOS is intrusive. Playing four channel stereo music is hidden away. How hard is it…
Not bad
I actually use this app almost exclusively for my Denon AVR – X 2300. I like being able to switch different inputs from my iPad like Apple TV, to streamer, to CD player etc. Wish they would update the styling of the app though it’s a little old school.
Crashes on iPad OS
When selecting zone 2 it always crashes, unlike IPhone version.

No IPhone volume control
Unable to change volume using AirPlay on our iPhone 16’s like we used to. Need to use Denon or HEOS app for volume control- very inconvenient. It worked properly before but someone screwed that up with an update. All my devices are up to date.

The app is constantly crashing and inoperable; unresolved issues have persisted for weeks—precisely with something that was supposed to bring you pleasure and relaxation.
Delete app and reinstall it
If you have problem when switching to another zone (app automatically closes). Delete the app and reinstall it. Probably will solve.
Latest update broken
This has worked for me for years with a X8500HA, but now the latest update crashes and controls are controlling the wrong zones when they do work.
What happened?
It used to work flawlessly. Now, it can’t even find my Denon receiver. Please fix it ASAP.

Все работало +- нормально (нормально по уровню разработчиков Денона, для них нормально что иконка отображается); после крайнего обновления теперь когда нажимаю на шапку чтобы настройки зоны открыть - вылетает !!! Требую удалить эту помойку из Аппстора

Terrible
It was never good to begin with and now it doesn’t work at all. Garbage. Someday someone will make an AVR that is not stuck in the 90s…it won’t be Denon.

It used to work. Now it just hangs after selecting a receiver and then crashes

Few minor glitches and UX sections leave the user with an average taste.. it works though but not as per apple standard

Great receiver absolute trash software
Guys , you can literally use ai to make this ap better. Has to be the most glitchy inconsistent ap I have ever used. Please don’t make me replace my receiver because your software is so garbage

The app crashes every time I try to switch zones on the receiver. It closes immediately, with no error message . App version: [3.13.3]. Phone: Iphone promax 17, ios 26.6
Stopped working
It worked passably for years, but a recent update broke it. Now it can’t control an AVR at all.
New update 08/26 doesn’t even connect
Can’t use app remote because it doesn’t even connect after update, just an endless loading circle. What a shame
