I’ve had this machine for over a year. I got it for Christmas in 2024 and have not been able to make anything. I would like to be able to use it before purchasing any apps since I don’t know which app would be good for me. Did not even come with a manual. Kind of worthless at this point.

There is no help with any of these Cricut App with connecting to you actual machine but all they seem to want you to do is set up a ridiculously high subscription following a 3 day trial so it’s all about the subscription and not about the product

I’ve owned a cricut joy for well over a year. I haven’t been able to make one thing with it. Now I apparently can’t use it without buying some subscription. I just want to use the basic things that it says it comes with. I want to cut out the words “merry Christmas”, I don’t care what font it is. But my app needs to be updated. Which is not even possible. Very frustrating and disappointing. I expected better from this brand. I’ll bet Siser doesn’t treat their customers like this. SMH! Please DO BETTER cricut.
Also, make canceling your services possible in the app! It’s pathetic that you made it almost impossible to cancel after making me sign up for a trial subscription in order to do anything. This app is a scam and I don’t recommend anyone use it.

At first glance it is extremely overwhelming visually. Then when you do find the area that you’re looking for the icons, don’t take you where you need to go you click on them and they don’t do anything so that’s really not helpful

The app got worse
The previous app was clunky, frustrating and often glitched. This app is even worse. It isn’t intuitive, it’s difficult to edit, move or resize anything, there’s things missing from the menu compared to the previous app. You have to pay for basically everything, even basic shapes like a square, circle or triangle when designing your own. In short, the app does less than the previously already tedious one. It’s actually putting me off cricut products altogether.
