Works well

Great brick alternative. Keeps me focused and off social media.

So helpful

This app has helped me pause and think about how I’m spending my time instead of mindlessly jumping on the passive dopamine hit of a scroll. It’s been super helpful, and I LOVE that it blocks apps and websites so I can’t jump through my normal loopholes 😵‍💫 1/5 of the price of Brick!! Same product!!

Balanced - flexible - effective

I've found this app and the card-scanning method very effective in removing distractions and limiting my time on the sites and apps that are designed to harvest my attention. I can get in if something necessary comes up, but it's enough of a deterrent to stop the easy escapes that end up sucking away more time/attention than intended. Excellent app and I really appreciate the affordability. Highly recommend.

Exactly What You’re Looking For

If you’re searching for this app, you’re too far gone, you should get it. It does exactly what you want it to do. It’s easier to take on the go than a brick, but just the act of having to take out a card is enough of a barrier to keep you off your phone. I also like the active time counter because it makes me not want to break my long streaks. Good stuff.

Reclaim your time

Much cheaper than using Brick and works just as well! I’ve already seen a major difference in my productivity and focus since getting Detach. Simple and effective!

Fantastic.

Phenomenal product. You don’t even need the card truly. Eric’s vision and execution are superb. Spend the $10 and take back your time.

It’s perfect, it really is

so worth it

this is the PERFECT balance between restricting screen time without feeling completely out of luck if you randomly need to get into an app. I love that it can come with me in my wallet, keeps me focused, but also gives me peace of mind knowing if there is a MUST reason to get into an app, I can!!

I work in marketing and the need to get into social media apps is frequent and often unexpected, so this is perfect

Great app even better founder

My girlfriend and I have always struggled with social media usage but this is app is a game changer. Having to physically tap your phone to use the apps keeps us focused throughout the day!

Life changing app

This app has helped me cut my screen time more than I ever would’ve thought. It has given me back my time to focus and be productive not to be dramatic, but this app can literally change your life.

Focus made simple, no distractions, pure productivity

Detach is outstanding—sleek, clean, intuitive, and incredibly effective. The interface is smooth, modern, and thoughtfully designed, making everything feel effortless to navigate. It genuinely helps with exactly what it’s intended for—staying focused and cutting down distractions. Easily one of the most impressive productivity apps I’ve u

Game changer

I cut my screen time from eight hours to four hours. It’s not it’s not perfect right now but I’m getting there!

The best thing I ever bought

I kept seeing ads for Brick, Bloom, and Blok and was actually thinking about getting one, but they all felt way too expensive. Then a friend told me about Detach and I was like, it’s $10, why not. That $10 literally cut my screen time in half. I’m the type of person where if I go on my phone in the morning, I’ll end up scrolling the entire day. Now I wake up and all my social media apps are blocked, and for some reason, because I don’t detach until two hours after I wake up, it actually works. There’s something about having a physical device that creates just enough friction where I don’t even want to unblock the apps. It kind of forces me to stay disciplined without thinking about it. And when I leave the house, it’s even better. I detach, and I don’t even feel the urge to check social media, not because I suddenly have more willpower, but because I know I can’t.
