Well, Mixed Bag
Characters? A+.
Mechanics? F.
I suffered through FOUR of these games, and I can assure you it wasn’t for the stories.
The lead detective carries her father’s skull around. The skull occasionally reveals important information. Her partner is invisible and apparently owns an entire department store’s worth of clothing. By the fourth game, they felt like old friends, and I genuinely wanted to know what they were up to next.
The mechanics, however, seem to have been designed by a committee of angry raccoons.
The Hint button rarely provides a hint. Instead, it informs me that I cannot consult other detectives at this time or presents me with a map. I do not need a map. I need to know where the bloody screwdriver is.
And then there are the crashes.
Not little crashes.
Not occasional crashes.
Pick up an item and the entire game sometimes simply vanishes. The whole thing. Gone. Like it entered witness protection.
So why did I keep playing?
The characters.
They are charming, memorable, ridiculous, and somehow worth putting up with all of the frustration.

Great game but bonus secret room was difficult
I loved this game. The concept of the three detectives from different game series coming together is amazing. The puzzles were hard but not too hard and the hidden objects were fun. The only issue I had was in the bonus secret room it took me forever to find all the objects as they were difficult to see and it hurt my eyes trying to find them

no bonus content
i got to the end of the main game and the ‘featured’ screen appeared for other eg games and it won’t go away, can’t even get to the menu. i enjoyed the game but this was a bit disappointing

I am blown away at the creativity and cleverness and just plain fun behind this game.
I had a blast playing as 3 different characters!
As soon as I finished I went lookkkg for more Detectives United games and found a few more.
Can’t wait to play them!

No good
Tried to purchase 3 times and it never goes through. Opening scene was very low resolution for a game that wants $12.99.
