Wow. Way to not be discrete at all.
The quick record isn't quick, you still have to change the screen to black. That should be automatic, but it leaves stuff on the screen for you to manually hide. And I tried to turn the sound effects off but every time I closed the app, it reset the preferences so it made a loud beep when I reopened for a quick record. Even turning off ringer didn't rid me of the dead giveaway beeping. Worthless.

Not just for sleuths
I do transcriptions of interviews, and I purchased this app to assist me with that. It is amazing. The ability to link interviews to places is so helpful to me, and adds another layer of search available to me. I save to my Google drive, so I never have to worry about loss of data - it just makes everything so easy. And although I have no need for it, I can think of countless situations where the black screen recording option would be invaluable. Overall an excellent app.
