Cautions

Be Calm

Response from developer

Thanks for your review! 😊 We’re happy you enjoyed the app. And yes — staying calm is a great tip while scanning, since many everyday devices can affect Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or magnetic readings. If you ever have questions or want help understanding a scan result, feel free to contact us.

Needs work

What is the point of renaming a device and marking it as safe if that info isn’t saved anywhere? Each time same devices listed as suspicious. Not useful in this form.
(I appreciate the developer’s response and look forward to the updated version)

Response from developer

Hi, thanks for your feedback — we really appreciate it 🙏 You’re absolutely right, and this is a known limitation in the current version. We’re already working on improvements so that renamed devices and “safe” status will be properly saved and remembered. This enhancement is planned for an upcoming update, and your feedback helps us prioritize what matters most to users. Thanks for pointing it out!

Useless

None of the scanners work, nor the light check - only the magnetometer gives any readings at all

Bad joke

24 hour lifetime free in app purchase does not work. Bad joke. The buttons on the top it’s straight up off the screen. I had to tap it in the top corners up where my clock is. It’s ridiculous man fix your

Freezes on launch.

Tried this as part of the AppAdvice lifetime offer but on launch I just get a frozen spinning wheel.

Bugs?

Seems like there are bugs or issues on the backend. I downloaded the app, and it crashed after the splash and the first paywall pop up screen. I re-opened the app, and after the splash screen, I was asked to grant permissions — and even after allowing access, all I see is a spinning cog under each category. WiFi, Bluetooth, light filter, and magnometer all have this spinning cog despite allowing the app sit in the foreground of my device for about 10-15 minutes. I’ve tried deleting, doing a hard device reset, and reinstalling, and the same thing happens.

I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro Max, with iOS 18.1.1, and the latest version of your app. I have tried both on my WiFi and cellular connections with high speed internet, and none of my other apps are experiencing any connectivity issues. I have 28 years of voluntary experience with beta testing hardware/software, so I’ve tried the common steps that would generally be taken to resolve similar issues on the user end of most apps. It seems like the issue might be on the backend of the app, not on the user end.

I hope you will figure out the problem and resolve it. I’d love to leave an updated positive rating/review. At this time, the app is unfortunately unusable. I truly appreciate the free lifetime offer from AppAdvice, though. Hopefully my feedback will help you pinpoint and fix the issues with your app. It looks like it would be very useful for locating devices while traveling and at home!
