Works beautifully and surprises
I use it (in iPhone X, always with the current iOS) in this manner. While texting a friend with iMessage I click the camera icon to video myself. I then click the “effects” button to the left of the camera shutter. This opens a row of options (Animoji’s, Photos, Music, etc.) including Devo Stickers by Emoji. I click it, then click the sticker or stickers I want. The sticker appears in the video screen and I can stretch it or shrink it and position it wherever I want it to be. I often choose the red energy dome (the “three dimensional” design (there’s also a “flat” design) and stretch it and play with positioning it until it looks like I’m wearing it. Then I make my video and send it. It works perfectly.

It works perfectly. Just make sure you know that there's no actual visible app. It's simply a sticker extension. I thought it wasn't showing up, but it turns out it's there.
